The cleanliness was good for the age of the hotel. They do try and keep it clean. The pricing is really good for the area and therefore they did have a few long term guests, but everyone was nice. The coffee was good and breakfast was available but limited choices. You can hear upstairs but it was minimal. The bed was comfortable for such an inexpensive area hotel. We would actually stay here again and we do travel to the area often.

We had a rough start as the hotel does not have an elevator and stairs are hard for me. The check in person was mediocre at best and was quite unpleasant. I threw a little fit about the stairs and he explained that he would move us tomorrow which made our stay nicer, much appreciated. Later we talked outside and the clerk was very nice at that time, just not super friendly. The bed made a weird noise from the base when you got in and out of the bed. There was two small maintenance issues but my husband being a plumber just fixed them for them real quick. The shower head leaked and the toilet seat was moving.

The property was very clean and quiet. I would recommend and I would definitely book here again.

The only negative thing I can say is I had to wait about 10 minutes before a staff member came to check me in. I called the number multiple times to get someone to come to the front. But when he finally came the process was very fast and easy.

The woman Megan at the front desk was AMAZING! She was friendly and made sure that things were taken care of. We had been in our room for less than 10 minutes when the arm that flushes the toilet broke and we weren't able to flush the toilet. I went down and let her know and she said that the maintenance guy was off but that the owner was there and knew how to take care of it. I told her we'd be leaving in a bit for dinner and if possible he could come then to take care of it then. That way we wouldn't be in their way. She agreed and said that would be fine. I stopped on my way out and she had stepped away from her desk for a moment to handle something for another guest but she poked her head around the corner and let me know that she saw us and it would be taken care of when we got back from dinner. We got back and it was fixed, no muss, no fuss and we couldn't even tell they had been in the room other than a fixed toilet! Their breakfast was good, waffles and toast/bagels, coffee/juice and yogurts and some fruit. They were on top of making sure that things were filled. Coffee was good and fresh.

The hotel is definitely an older hotel, you can tell it has been a while since being updated. BUT the staff more than makes up for it.

I liked that the staff was attentive and promptly took care of a couple of issues we had with the appliances in the room. I liked that it was clean and well kept

The TV and refrigerator were both problem points with the stay. The TV was disconnected and I believe the refrigerator was as well.

I loved the bed. Slept GREAT!! I loved my room was very close to the lobby. Didn't have far to bring in luggage. Close to Wawa and main routes. Great experience. Definitely stay here again.

The air conditioner was tricky to operate but I figured it out.

We were in the area for a sports competition, requiring us to be at the sports venue by 5:00 AM so we could not take advantage of the breakfast. I expected that but would have been much happier if I had been able to have a fresh coffee as we left the hotel.

Everything was perfect from location, to accommodations, to even the coffee, the property was very clean and the staff very helpful and quick to assist with any questions or concerns. 10/10 will definitely visit again

Need to have a better sign on the street. Had a little trouble finding the hotel during daylight to check in. Later in the dark we drove past the hotel several times (both ways) before we found it -- even though we had been there a few hours before.

Convenient to restaurants

There is no elevator and luggage is normally heavy and a person doesn't want to drag it up a stairway with a child . Also the fridge was not working.

Mr Sandy was tremendously great! Very helpful and understanding. Also Mr Lewis was a great help during my stay. If you're in the Richmond area and need a clean safe hotel stay I recommend this place.
