Wyndham Garden Norfolk Downtown

It’s beautiful when you walk in very cute decor but smelled musty and was like humid when we got to the 9th floor.. it smelled like muggy kinda in the hallway and a lil in the room but wasn’t unbearable or anything.. the bed was sooo comfy and the room was clean but kinda out dated compared to the lobby and ground floor the view was nice.. the town was pretty cool although we only stayed a night to go hit the casino.. the night attendant was very pleasant and even called to check if we were still coming.. I’m not sure why it was so expensive and why we had to pay for parking.. but overall it was a nice hotel.. and did the job they did allow us a late check out which was also very nice!

Outdated bathroom, strange layout mildew smell

I thought the beds were SO COMFORTABLE!! We just bought a new premium mattress, and it was as comfortable as home.

I think the room needs a full length mirror outside of the bathroom. That is my only "complaint". There's no way to check your outfit or style hair/makeup if someone is in the bathroom.

Black Tuna Grill is awesome. Ms Reena is one of the best serving boss that l have ever encountered. Her vibe is real and l would stay just to be in her company.

The internet . And tv stop working at 12 midnight and did not work all night and was not working when we checked out

Everything was above our expectations. Beautiful room, easy access, Handicap room and it was easy to enter, bathroom was easy for my Mother to access. Everything was very clean. We ate at the Black Tuna and the food was delicious!

Transportation to and from the Train station would have been appreciated. We had to get a taxi to and from the train station and if the hotel had a van it would have been much easier to get to and from. Otherwise it was great.

Nice place. Convenient location for our needs. Bed was very comfortable. Very clean. Would definitely stay again. Great price.

There was a zip tie thru the holes on the plug for microwave. Not sure why. Front desk didn't know. I was not removing it and end up with some weird charge.

This hotel is conveniently located near Norfolk sentara hospital for us. It is also located close to the Scope , Chrysler Hall and Mac Arthur Center.

Our adjacent rooms were very loud during the night but that is no fault of the hotel.

This hotel has the most comfortable beds and pillows of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

There was a horrible smell in the common areas of my floor. I think probably there was some renovation happening.

It was very clean even tho we had the wrong room we were very comfortable staff was very nice (ms.brook ) very good with check out

Everything was great beside we found 1 bug in the hotel but that didn’t mess up our stay

we liked the room . Unfortunately, it was not close to any restaurants or stores. I like the view room was very clean.

Size and cleanliness of the rooms.

The bathroom door is a heavy barn door with no handle on the inside. Dangerous for someone more frail than I. And because of the sliding barn door, the full length mirror is in the wrong place to be full length.
