Everything was great except the rude Caucasian lady with the glasses that served breakfast. I asked for Splenda and she told me there was no more. She then proceeded to pick one packet off the floor five minutes later and handed it to me. Everything anyone asked for she told a number of residents there was nothing left. The head people in charge came down because someone must have reported her and all of a sudden there was more than enough coming from the kitchen. Everyone in that kitchen was respectful except the older Caucasian lady with the glasses,she was beyond rude. Why work in customer service if you don't want to work.. Everyone else was respectful, helpful and pleasant when speaking to them. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at!

I wish there was a outdoor pool that's it.

The two young women working at the front desk were phenomenonal! Anything i needed they didn't hesitate and were quite personable. My room was spacious and the bed was perfect! Since i was cruising i paid to park my car there for additional days and came back to my car and no issues!

I didn't like how there was no water fountain other than the one in the gym. Not too much of an inconvenience if you won't need it. Also be sure to get to breakfast early or it is slim pickings.

How close the hotel was to the venue, can't get any closer than right across the street. Our room was on the first floor, we were able to park on the first floor of the parking garage.

I thought we had reserved a room with 2 king beds & a pull-out sofa but when we got there only had 1 bed & a pull-out. The room was really small for 4 people. We were only there for one night so didn't really see the need to say anything but if our stay was any longer we definitely would have talked to somebody. The room windows have no tint, if blinds are open then everyone can see in, especially on the ground floor.

The front desk person Deaisha (I believe) was BEYOND patient, helpful and accommodating. She did not lose her cool no matter how many requests my family and I made for different things. Our ice maker for our floor was out. I had sent my 16 y/o daughter to get ice and she actually went and got the ice for her, from one of the floors that was working. I had asked another employee for an extra blanket, she had to guide that individual on where to access the linens. I had also made an error in my booking, she caught it, fixed it and made me feel reassured that I would not be charged for the extra stay, and I wasn’t.

I enjoyed the room, the pool was nice and quiet. My son had a friend with him and they really enjoyed the pool; small but nice for a quick dip. The location and parking 100% will be back!!!!

toilet was broken. it wouldn’t flush. thankfully we were only in the room to sleep and shower for the most part but 2 guys and a female without a working toilet was..awkward. had to have maintenance plunge it but didn’t help. told front desk again about it but no one came to look at it. had to go elsewhere to use the bathroom.

The location was near ODU which is why we selected it. The room size was good. The beds were comfortable. My husband and I were happy with the hot breakfast; he had eggs and sausage while I enjoyed a waffle and yogurt. The receptionists at check in were very friendly.

Our room faced the street so it was VERY noisy even with earplugs! You could hear every car and motorcycle driving by... and the air conditioning was very loud each time it kicked on.

I liked there was a lot of restaurants around

Breakfast was ok. Beds weren’t really comfortable. I was supposed to get a king bed suite and ended up with a double Queen which is fine but no one said anything to me and didn’t get a partial refund.

Staff was super friendly and helpful

The traffic was super loud and non stop 24/7 due to the apparent proximity to the port. Luckily they had a room for us move to the next day on the other side of the facility. Do not stay in any even numbered room.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! The ladies at the front desk offered some excellent dining recommendations, told us where to park, and gave us some nice site-seeing suggestions. The hotel has a great location! It's directly across from ODU with easy access to downtown Norfolk, the mall, and the Navy Yard. The property was clean and our room was very comfortable. Plenty of space for families!

Walking distance or a short ride to Ghent and other places for attractions and food. Nice, quiet, and comfortable room. Decent breakfast and fantastic staff.

My only complaint is the price. It should be in the $100-$120 range.
