Candlewood Suites Norfolk Airport, an IHG Hotel

The staff was extremely friendly and very professional. The room was so very comfortable. Normally I don't sleep well when away from home, but I slept like a baby! The original facility that I had booked contacted me and let me know that they could not accommodate me. I was frustrated and very tired. Booking.com found this place for me and I was overjoyed! The price was also less than what I originally paid at the other facility. I was so pleased with the whole experience.

There was nothing that I didn't like about this place.

The entire staff was absolutely exceptional! they were warm, welcoming and so kind upon arrival and departure. We were met with smiling faces throughout the entire stay. The general manager, Freddie Green, is a true gem and ensured our stay was pleasant. Hotel is in great location! Roughly 20 from VA beach and great restaurants in the surrounding area!

I’d like that the property was convenient to shopping and restaurants in the area.

There were a few things about the room that needed mending. I brought it to the attention of management, and they immediately filled out a maintenance ticket.  I documented with pictures to show that I was not the one who caused the damage.

The staff was awesome and provided great information. Especially with the business Uber that was so appreciated.

I didn't like my sheets were dirty and there was trash behind the dresser. I spoke with Housekeeping and Front Desk and it was addressed and they moved us to another room after our faucet in the shower broke off.

Thank you so much to whoever was working the front desk the afternoon of 5/28 (sorry we did not catch your name)! We were originally staying at a motel nearby and had to leave early because of how dirty it was. We then came to Candlewood and it was perfect. Thank you so much to the front desk for getting us into a great room. We made it to our event on time thanks to you and loved our stay.

Everything went well, from check-in to check-out. I want to thank Damon, for all his assistance and input on different activities and places that we could go. He was very pleasant, professional and friendly. The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. I really like the fact the room had a stove and refrigerator. I was surprised that were dishes, pans and utensil already provided.

There was nothing that i did not like. But i don't think the room we had was handicap Accessible and that is what i made reservations for.

The room was great.

In the accessible room the bed was extremely high and I needed a lot of help getting in. The refrigerator door opened in the wrong direction making it difficult to use.

The room was very nice.

I had an issue getting clean towels and there was no laundry bag. The daytime staff was very nice about it. The nighttime women were rude. She even held her finger in my face. Which was weird. I stayed was staying a week and didn't want to deal with an attitude so I ignored it.

Place was pretty clean and then bed comfortable. Location is very good and you're close to restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores. Will come back again

We spend there 3 nights and due to covid protocol they don't have housekeeping come to freshen up the rooms. It's not really a complaint cause I understand that safety comes first
