La Quinta by Wyndham Norfolk Airport

The staff was awesome. No question! I've had two issues. One the heat wasn't working. Within 15 minutes of calling the front desk, that issue was resolved. The other issue was 3rd party reservation error was also resolved. Both issues resolved with the utmost professionalism and friendliness.

I don't think parking was well thought out. There needs to be more. 2 trucks took up 8 spaces and there was nowhere else to park. My bed was a little too soft. Beds should support the body. You shouldn't sink in. More variety 4 breakfast. Ham, corned beef hash, Turkey sausage etc. Checkout at 11.

The price we paid was great! We enjoyed the pool - was clean and warm water. The room was comfortable and clean. Nothing crazy fancy but for the price it was amazing!

The breakfast was standard for a free hotel breakfast. Nothing to really complain about, but would have enjoyed an oatmeal, hardboiled egg, dairy free milk options because we have some gluten and dairy free food needs. As others have mentioned there were parts of the hotel that had a slight smoker smell, but that smell stayed out of our room if we didn’t have hotel staff in it.

Everything was perfect!!! Specially the breakfast. Oh, GOD! It was so delicious, warmed and varied. There was an employee to replace the food whenever you need it. They offered eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, juice, coffee, milk, yogurt, fruits and many more *-* I was very surprised by the cleanliness of the entire hotel (not just the room we stayed in). It was smelling soooo good. Our room was clean, fragrance and tidy. There were towels, toiletries, small microwave coffee machine and fridge. We loved everything!! Thank you, La Quinta!

I would like to say the pool was perfect, but unfortunately there was too much chlorine in it. I tried opening the windows, but it wasn't enough. We couldn't stay long. Our face's skin got irritated for a few times. We went with a toddler, she'd have liked to stay longer, but we couldn't. I understand that a lot of people go to the pool but if there is any other solution to lessen this discomfort, that would be great. We'd like to go back there next time :D

Very clean. close to outlets .

The girl at the front desk that checked me in needs to work on her customer service skills. The only thing she asked was my name. She brought it up in the computer, printed out the paper for me to sign, laid it on the counter, no explanation. Gave me my room keys. Never said anything else. No have a nice day. No enjoy your stay. Never told us breakfast hours, where the elevator was. NOTHING!!!!

The breakfast was delicious. We got to breakfast about 9:30, but every thing went well. Only waited 3-4 minutes for juice bar to be replenished. But the young man was on the job making sure everything was to our satisfaction

The price was a more than I expected. I thought I was supposed to have a $100.00 reimbursement for no damages. The room was $100 more than I expected. I stayed because I have visited LaQuinta's by Windham before and I was totally satisfied then. The additional $100.00 Hit my spending budget a little more than expected. Plus I was very tired.

The Staff was wonderful and so helpful. All shifts. I would give the staff a 10 out of 10. They were amazing 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿 My overall stay was great but If they would upgrade & update the rooms and keep them a little cleaner I would give a 10 out of 10 but I can't. I would say a 8 out 10. Because of the staff.

The bathtub was the worst. Shower curtain had black mold and mildew spots on them. The Shower head was molded and just nasty. I'll give the bathroom a 1 out of 10. The cable box in my room was just hanging from the top of the t.v, cords and all. My sister's were in the room next to me and their room smelled like smoke and other bad oders the whole time we were there and they don't smoke. They had all kinds of stains on their curtains and chairs. One of the beds was not clean or made up when we got there but the wonderful staff member came up no longer than 5 minutes after getting her call and changed all the covers and brought up extra for the inconvenience.

We had a great time. The staff was am amazing and felt more like family then staff. Mr. Larry was very attentive, Ms. Gloria was very helpful and kind, Ms. Beverly was very sweet and welcoming. We stayed at this hotel twice during one vacation, because of the staff.

Breakfast! I wish there was more options. The eggs were a little too wet for me and I wish there were bacon and or sausage options. Also, there was no butter for my waffles, and I did not see any hot chocolate. Other than that, the waffles were typical and good. I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy.

The front desk staff was excellent and helpful. She was very nice and easy to talk with and even came to our room to help adjust the heater late at night. They even suggested some good places to eat that were awesome! The staff was very down to earth. If I go back I hope to work with the same staff. It was extremely close to the airport and easy to find. However, with traffic you had to make a U-turn and and travel a bit of a way to get back to it depending on which direction you were going.

They were working on the pool and doing some other things, therefore, we were not able to get into the pool but it's winter so real biggie. I do wish the breakfast would have lasted an hour longer versus being open from 6:00 to 9:00.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Tara is an absolute treasure. We had TV trouble. She came to room very quickly to remedy the problem. The dining room attendant was very hospitable. She was quick to replenish breakfast items as needed. The hot breakfast was very satisfying. WAFFLES! Also, no shortage of eateries nearby. Would stay here again.

I like pets 🐕 but don't like the idea of staying in a room that they previously occupied. I think hotels should have rooms designated for pets. I'm sure folks with allergies would appreciate that 🤧

The staff was very friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. The location of the hotel was close to food, gas stations and Walmart everything was on that strip which was convenient. The room was also very clean.

The smell of the room wasn't too pleasant but I find that is common in most La Quinta hotels not sure if its because of the AC unit or the carpet
