even though it lists parking - actual hotel parking is at additional cost and its valet only. that was not clear in the listing.

I loved the location. It was exactly what we wanted to be able to walk around the city for meals and our main excursion, going to the convention center.

A menu in the room listing the food options would have been helpful. We didn’t eat at the hotel, mainly because we didn’t know what was available and don’t really want to take the time to figure it out when we got downstairs. At that point, we were too hungry and just went out to find something to eat.

From valet to front desk to room I was amazed at the service. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. I even called for toothpaste and Levi bought it up in minutes. Great service for the value.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t an indoor pool. That’s all I didn’t like. Haha

Stayed here for a concert at a venue a few blocks away. Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to restaurants.

Didn’t like my view from my window. It was basically the alley and facing the building next to it and couldn’t really see anything else. Wish I had a better view of the city.

The location was excellent for exploring Richmond. Close to many restaurants and walking distance to museums. Lobby offers convenient breakfast and had a nice bar area.

Valet parking (although convenient) was $32.00 per night. Next time we’ll use a different parking garage.

Location is perfect, cobblestone streets surrounding the Hotel, staff, décor, and our view were all spot on. We didn't expect a complimentary breakfast, it was a wonderful surprise and the dining room is beautiful. Room was nice and quite spacious! Very comfortable bed :-)

Travel size lotions in the bathroom would be a nice touch for travels like us :-) My wife and I frequently travel by the seat of our pants spur of the moment so we're not always prepared with travel bags or even clothes lol! The Hotel saved the day by providing us with toothbrushes and paste!

Starbucks in the lobby is a good option. Lots of great eating options down the street. Valet parking was a convenient option and the valet staff was courteous and efficient.

The one-way street was not recognized by the navigation system of my rental car - so I had to go around a few times to find the enterance to the hotel when I checked in for the first time.

The hotel has a fresh look, a very comfortable lobby and courtyard. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

We did not like the constant hum in the room. We were able to change to another floor/room the next day to move away from the air return. We did not like the view of the brick wall and the dirty alley beneath. When we were moved to another location, the view of the courtyard is very nice.

The hotel is conveniently located in Shockoe walking distance to the river, boat canal rides, the mural walk and many excellent restaurants.

They need to upgrade the number of usb ports for charging computers, iPhones, and watches.
