We loved how quaint and clean the cottage was! The staff was so friendly and helpful, the front desk clerk, Norma had some excellent recommendations for great restaurants within waking distance. The cottage is also a perfect location for easy walking access to the beach.

The only downside was the evaporative coolers in the rooms. When it's so hot and humid, they do cool the room, but they also make everything, including the sheets damp and sticky, which made sleeping a little uncomfortable. I would highly recommend upgrading the room coolers.

Angie's cottages, is the nicest place I have stayed in six years of going to virginia beach, I got what most people want but never get even from the big chain hotels. IT WAS SO CLEAN, YOU COULD LET A BABY EAT OFF THE FLOOR. The staff was so nice and accomadating I felt like a family member. I woulf like to say thank you to you and your staff for that, that is somthing I forgot even existed in the hospitalty atmosphere.

I would like to see some handicapt parking on the street, from the local manisipality.

The cottage was very clean. Designated area for parking.

Cottage came with a refrigerator, stove, coffee pot, microwave…. But not one pan,not one spoon,not one coffee cup etc to cook with. Upon checkout, no one was in the office and there was no answer on either phone number. Though it’s nice that the beach is a block away, the 7-11 is across the street and is a hang out…. Very crowded with people hanging outside ALL hours of the night.

This is a hidden gem! The location couldn't have been any better. We stayed here for the 2021 Neptune Festival and it was only a few blocks to the boardwalk with all of the artists and food vendors. Our room extremely clean, it had a slight smell of bleach, which is a must during COVID. We had a nice chat with Jen from housekeeping, she made us feel very welcome! Shout out to Steve at the front desk! He had a great personality and gave us great recommendations for dinner and breakfast. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay here and will be our go-to place in VA beach from now on. Thanks for having us!

Great value and very clean.

The cottage is showing its age. The floors slope really bad. The shower is very small-you can basically turn around in it. There is a motion detector flood light that came on and shined right in the window next to the bed off and on all night. They didn't empty the garbage the entire time we were there.

The location was perfect,2 minutes away from the beach and dining places. Next to it is 7-11 and Walgreen if you don't want to drive or walk after a long day on the beach, or if you have a kid, and in case of emergency It's a very safe and perfect choice!

I guess only the loud sound of AC for a little studio, it was noisy. And a little bit humidity smell but it wasn't a big deal for us.

There wasn't any breakfast offered. The cottage is small but cute. It has a kitchen, but no utensils. Bring your own coffee and filters, kitchen utensils if you're staying long term. We used it for an overnight stop.

The gates have a hook to lock, but isn't very secure since someone can slide a screwdriver through and lift up the hook. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the porch with some coffee.

Love the location.It’s very accessible to our needs.7 eleven is just across the street for our coffee in the morning,a minute to boardwalk which we enjoyed every morning. Quite location if you need extra sleep.Very recommendable place for a vacation👍

The towels that we left out the door were not replaced so as the trash bag and I need to tell the owner. An immediate action was given to our concern by a very nice owner. Need to check cockroach because I stepped one on the floor after seeing climbing up in our bed.Threw it in the trash can and I made sure the cleaning service will see it. It’s just a very simple concern but need to let the owner know to improve the cleaning service beacuse it’s a greaaaattt location and place.👍

This is an older property, but well maintained by father & son. It felt like staying in an an attic. There were two small windows on the sides of the door, 2 beds on opposite sides of the room, a tiny bathroom in the middle & a small fridge/ sink/ toaster area. For me & my son it was a perfect size for a couple of days at the beach. It was clean, no bugs, beds were alright, no smell of smoke & affordable. We loved how easy it was to walk to the beach! There is a 7-11 is next door, so we had affordable snacks any time we desired. We found it to be a very affordable way to have a mini break from work work work. We hope to come again.

...I would recommend only 1 or 2 people to stay here, it is a small room. Perfect for us though!

We prefer to be ocean front but this was only a block to the ocean and so affordable. Our room was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. The owners are always present to maintain high standards of hospitality. We'll definitely go back.
