Comfort Suites Beachfront

Location excellent. Parking excellent. Hotel very quiet. View from room excellent. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast very good. There was a good selection of food choices and beverages

The room was not very clean, there was no attention to detaild. Furniture wasn't clean. Need to be steam cleaned One elevator was broken room service poor.

The hotel and our suite were in a great location. Great balcony for beach view and sunrise. Parking deck was very accessible. The layout of the suite was excellent with a large bedroom with king bed and tv. Nice sized bathroom with walk in shower. Nice sized counter for coffee prep and a table and chairs for dining. The living room had a large sectional sofa.

We thought the unit in general and the bathroom in particular could have been much cleaner. The temperature was hard to regulate and we were really cold most of the time, especially in the bedroom where there was only a top sheet on the bed. The included breakfast buffet was standard fare.

Absolutely loved the location and staff!  -We stayed on 4th floor which I loved because we didn’t need the elevator for the pool or breakfast. -Their daily breakfast had a nice selection of different options, warm, and cold. The staff member directing breakfast was so joyful, he played music and really made the atmosphere wonderful! -We stayed in a one bedroom with king bed and pull out couch. It was very roomy. Also, can’t beat oceanfront view!  -The pool was a nice size, great lounge chairs, and since we stayed during the week, it was fairly empty most times. -Some things to note: There is not daily cleaning or towel exchange if you’re staying less than three nights. We used the laundry room and they had a few each located on different levels which was convenient. The front desk exchanged coins for use so that was nice. All the ice machines worked as well, and we used two on different levels.

-The shower leaked quite a bit of water onto the floor during showers so we had a very damp bathroom floor and a few soaked towels because of it. -The sofa bed it wasn’t the comfiest, but they never are. -If you are looking for an impeccably clean hotel, this isn’t it. It could use a deep cleaning, but overall was tidy, smelled pleasant, and no alarming dirt. But I mean, you’re at the beach, you know? Erosion and sand and whatnot is normal.

Kiara at the front desk was phenomenal! Her customer service skills are great. We flew in from Boston and arrived wayyyy before check in , but she was kind enough to put our suit cases in the back of her office while we went and explored virginia beach! She also gave us the bathroom and pool key so that we could use it while we waited for our room to be ready! Our room ended up being ready early and I was so grateful for their effort and kindness! The room was so clean..the breakfast crew was also amazing, Chris and his team were so pleasant and helpful. These people love their job, and it shows! I loved the location , it's right in themiddle of the boardwalk & there's tons of stuff to do!

I liked the location. I liked the beach access. I liked the shopping and food options within walking distance. I liked the front desk guy who worked at nights. I liked the view from my 11th story balcony.

I did not like how quickly the front desk lady went through our introduction to the property. I know she does it all the time but she went so fast it was hard to understand her. Late night party on 12th floor was too loud. I think they were done by 11:00 PM or midnight. I was trying to sleep. The eggs at breakfast were not good.

Location was excellent and the room was very sufficient for our needs - lots of room! The view was awesome from the 12th floor, facing the ocean. Availability of parking was excellent.

No fault of the property owners, but there was only one elevator in operation during our stay. We did not utilize the free breakfast, so we cannot comment on that. The door to the balcony was very hard to open and close, but we dealt with it.

Room layout is great! Very comfortable bed, selection of pillows, 2 tv's in 2 rooms. Able to close off bedroom and bath from main area. Fantastic view. Would be excellent for a longer stay.

Shower door leaked water all over floor. No tissues. Patio door needs work to lock easily.

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable with a great layout. The balcony was a good size. The free breakfast was wonderful!!! Thank you.

The outside was hugely underwhelming especially The balcony. Incredibly shabby view from the boardwalk. If I had to make a decision based on what I saw first I wouldn't have chosen this spot which is unfortunate because we would have missed an otherwise good stay. It got worst as we left the parking deck and entered the narrow, dark, rusty, dusty hallways. I wouldn't have felt safe alone. The entry to the rooms are too close for comfort in a narrow hallway and no visibility... an easy place for attacks without witnesses or possible help.

Warm Greeting by Maya, she was amazing in customer service. Our room was beautifully decorated, loved the mini bar with refrig. microwave, sink we used it everyday, bathroom had large walk-in shower our room was one of the best rooms as far as location. Wow, Breakfast was the best we have had, bacon, ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits/gravy, pancakes, cereal, muffins, bread, oatmeal, yogurt, hard boil eggs, fruit cups and the ladies serving were very friendly and helpful, Loved the location, close to restaurants and activities. Shay and all the employees treated us extremely well were helpful and friendly!!!

Very slow elevators, one was broken but we were told help was coming to fix. We used the steps a lot but we were o.k with that but I know many are not able.

Location was great (end King room with double balcony) and able to watch concerts at the 24th Street Stage each night The staff were very nice (Joseph, Rosemary, Vickie -- can't remember the other 2 names that I encountered) and did their best with check-in especially considering housekeeping was short staffed and while waiting they gave us key to 4th floor area with pool access and rest rooms

Breakfast was a let down (in pics it shows waffle maker & there weren't any and they had very pale pancakes and no eggs . . no fault of the staff as it has more to do with management but able to eat something and no a/c in elevators - was like a sauna (good thing it's a brief ride)
