Nice shady courtyard out back (my room even had a back door to access the courtyard). Room was very quiet. Fluffy soft towels. Adjacent areas to walk dogs. Next to MudBay pet supplies. Walk to Haggen grocery store. Very close to freeway access.

Rude guest smoking where they shouldn't have been. I was unable to park close to my room.

Good choices at breakfast. Simple but good variety and good coffee. It was quiet and loved the interior park like area where pool is located. No traffic noise from local streets or I5.

Wish the pool was operational. There was no bath mat. I definitely want a clean bath mat to stand on when barefoot.

My dogs and I stay when we come to Mt. Vernon for agility trials. It is SO important for my canine athletes to have a peaceful, no stress place to rest up. This is it!

Going out to the doggie bathroom late at night made me nervous because of the obvious homeless population activity in the nearby vacant area.

Our room was on the first floor with a door out to the courtyard. They have a great pool and bbq area. We enjoyed a glass of wine outside our room while the pup laid in the grass. They also have full sized coffee makers, so nice to be able to have more than one cup before we started out again.

We liked everything, this was the second time we stayed there and enjoyed both visits.

For the price, I thought this place was great. I felt safe as a solo female traveller, it was near to a Starbucks and food outlets, straight off the highway. Staff were sweet and selection of breakfast snacks and coffee to take.

It was a little noisy near the highway.

My dogs and I stay at Cocusa whenever we compete in agility trials in Mt. Vernon or Stanwood. The staff is always friendly and cheerful. It is easy to check in when we arrive (exhausted after a day of running) and get out in the morning (when we must quickly reach the trial facility). I appreciate the way the staff shows respect to my dogs.

The television makes me crazy. I can't figure out the remote and there are no instructions.

do you like the layout of the property because there was a large courtyard in the middle that was completely contained. We have a dog so it was easy to go out there and play ball with her without worrying that she could get out. The hotel was not fancy but it was clean and the manager who welcomed us was extremely friendly and efficient. We would stay here again anytime.

Almost everything

There were no hangers or the loop things the hangers hang on. I had to call the office she said she would call housekeeping they never came so later that night I called again she brought me hangars but no loop things so i left a note for housekeeping they bought them but we were leaving the next morning. I had expensive dresses I needed to hang up

I loved the location and the focus on the 1962 Seattle Worlds Fair in several areas and in the guest rooms.

For being 62 years old the property has been well maintained. The swimming pool was a green color. Needed work.

It's close to home. Nice to get away, affordable , and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The downside was the pool facilities are out of order for the season, due to new construction I was I told. Clean! Older property, but nicely maintained. Nice view of the North Cascades from our balcony.

There was no hairdryer! Lol lol lol!
