Quality Inn Mount Vernon

It was cleaner than I expected and the bed was comfortable. After leaving here, we stayed at what some would consider a little fancier hotel further into our trip, and the beds at the Quality Inn were much better than the fancier hotel. And not because they are old and worn in. The mattresses look rather new. It’s an older slightly dated hotel but very clean. Pool was nice for the baseball team. Young man at the check in desk was great.

A little dated but nothing that interferes with the stay.

Thought it was a good property and value. An older property but definitely see there is an attempt to keep it up. There is a pool and hot tub, not the newest but again it shows they are trying to fix everything up. I really appreciated the breakfast in the morning. The best for us since Covid shut so much down and many properties seem happy to leave their breakfast services down. No t this property they have a hot breakfast and you can help yourself

My wife was not thrilled with the bed, I didn't think it too bad. To each their own. Room smelt a little musty but not terrible.

The room was clean and stocked well. The breakfast offered was fantastic and had great flavor. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location as perfect , great freeway access. Parking lot felt secure as we parked in front of the office and ghere was always someone there. It is a great stay.

The bed could use a little better mattress but it is not horrible.

Dick bathroom nice bed lots of pillows staff was nice I had to extended a day and I forgot togo to the office to arrange, being exhausted and forgetting what day it was, they were pretty patient with me about it and let me have a late check out cuz I was working nights and not in until 8/9 am.

I had to leave for work everyday.

I recently moved to Skagit County for employment reasons, I was looking for a reasonably priced motel/hotel that was (a) located near Interstate-5; (b) offered a breakfast option even throughout Covid-19; (c) had amenities (shopping) nearby; and, (d) was moderately priced due to my potential long-term residency until I was able to find an apartment in the same vicinity. I originally found Quality Inn via your typical accommodation search engine and chose Mount Vernon's Quality Inn due to it offering everything I said above... Knowing that I would be spending some time there, and after reading the perks of being a Choice Hotels member, I decided to make my reservation via Choice Hotels (after becoming a rewards member) so that I was able to accumulate points. After staying at the Mount Vernon Quality Inn for over a month, I give this property a 10 out of 10. Michelle, the property general manager is such an assess for the company and she definitely is one the most hard working and devoted employees that I've seen in quite some time.

I, personally, am not much of a swimmer however, the pool was out of order for the duration of my stay.

Any staff we encountered were very nice. Breakfast was a great layout and the ladies there kept everything very clean and stocked. The room was clean and very comfortable!

My only complaint was that ceiling/3rd floor is thin and the people upstairs must have gotten in late because they were quite noisy at 11pm.

The room was comfortable. The heater worked when needed. The bed was very very comfortable.

I woke at 1:30am to the smell of someone smoking. It was there again in the morning. Both times I could smell it in the room and stronger in the bathroom. For a non-smoking room to smell smoke was un comfortable. I explained this to the counter person when checking out Sunday morning.

All good. Honored my request for an upper floor and no pet room.. Receptionist (Michelle?) was very friendly and accommodating. Check in went quickly. Gave me extra coffee for free. Room was clean (spotless) and quiet. Parking lot was secure and well lighted (we have kayaks and ebikes). Again, all good.

easy to find and quite clean. the staff were all super friendly and helpful. one of the best hotel stays I’ve experienced in that area. room was very clean and towels were great. it’s the little things.
