Stewart Lodge

We were happy with our room far back from road noise. Motel location was good for our purposes, which was local travel by car. It's a little outside the downtown strolling and eating and shopping area. Spacious room with a couple of nice chairs. Bed comfy. Breakfast was OK, with bagels and cereal. We do not care for biscuits and gravy so we skipped that.

We did hear some late-night TV through the wall adjoining the head of our bed. Not too loud, but it disturbed our sleep a bit. The coffee at breakfast was very weak and poor. So we went to Pioneer Coffee downtown for good coffee.

LIKE: Clean room, and bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, good lighting in room, comfortable beds. BREAKFAST EXCEEDS OUR EXPECTATIONS. With hubby being a diabetic, there were excellent choices for him to choose from, PLUS sugar free syrup for the waffles! Walking distance to Safeway, McDonalds, Ploy Thai Bistro restaurant, Fast food restaurant, Safeway gas, and I think it is walkable to town at about 1/2 a mile.

Nice variety. Coffee was good and it was nice and hot. And the orange juice was good, nice pulp and flavor.

The breakfast room temperature was set too high. The room was too warm for this time of year. They need a bagel splitter. Cutting a bagel with a plastic knife isn't easy and one side is always too thick for the toaster.

Due to Covid, a hot breakfast in the dining room did not occur. Disappointed. The room was a little tired looking. Needed some upgrades. Love the fact that there was a vanity separate from the bathroom. Most guests were clustered together room assignment wise, probably due to ease of being able to clean the rooms without going from area to area. The floor was not carpeted which was perfect, but also we could hear the people above us walking around late at night. Creaky floors. Convenient to access grocery shopping and gas stations.

It was so much lovelier than I was expecting:) It had all the amenities we needed (ie. Fridge, ice, hot water, TV), was super clean and had really comfy beds! I’d stay here again for sure!

Old facilities didn’t warrant the high price. We paid 109 for a nice updated king room approximately 1 mile from the front gate of Disneyland

Big room! I like that it didn’t have carpeting because that is so much cleaner! I suppose that’s very advantageous for the sports minded who need room for dirty boots and wet gear. Was able to keep a nice, consistent and comfortable temperature and had good water pressure.

Don’t really know what could be better. Parking is right up to the door which if the place was full, might be annoying due to headlights in the window and noise, but I had no issue. I actually loved being able to park right in front of my room.

Room was spacious and clean. Free breakfast included hot entrees. Staff were efficient and unobtrusive. Can’t comment on the pool because we didn’t try it

Nicely updated in the past couple of years. Very comfortable for lodge or Hotel. Generally no comfortable place to sit in hotels Evt. This place had a great couch to sit on; and it was comfortable; not your typical property w bone crushingly uncomfortable seating.

The room was clean and comfortable. Decent selection of breakfast items.

Just seemed a little overpriced.
