Quality Inn & Suites Goldendale

The breakfast is basic but with good quality foods, a good selection of options, and is well-maintained and very neat and clean. The rooms are very quiet with no traffic/highway noise. The bedding and towels are fresh and clean. The motel is centrally located for Goldendale and its environs, and also for traveling from the Columbia River highways (WA-14 or I-84 in OR) north to Yakima on Highway 97. It cuts an hour off the travel time to Yakima.

Very little. For the Goldendale area it's a good choice.

We upgraded to a large room when we booked. The room was very spacious and even had two sinks, one in the bathroom, and one in the closet area. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. The breakfast room had lots of windows. The food selection was excellent. Front desk staff and breakfast hosts were wonderful.

Wishing there were an elevator. Even though it was only one flight of stairs (maybe 20), we are in our 70's and it was a bit tough moving in and out.

The young man taking care of the breakfast had a pistol tucked into his belt down the front of his pants; said it was in case "some crazy person" with a gun came in to shoot up the breakfast room. I think in the unlikely event a "terrorist" burst in to kill people eating breakfast at a Quality Inn in Goldendale, Washington, it's more likely that they would see the pistol, think "Oh, goody! Another gun!" and shoot the server first, before he had time to even process and react to the situation.

It was cozy small and fairly well maintained. Coffee, soap, shampoo and towels were all nice. I left my key card in my room and the clerk replaced without judgement or problem. He was professional in his work.

There was a connecting room that I was unaware of at first. When I checked it out the metal plate for the dead bolt was missing. My son visited me and reported smelling gas. I reported it to the clerk and he denied smelling it, though I could also smell it. It was resolved however, and we didn't smell it afterwards. He denied any rooms nearby were occupied but I could hear water running and other noises. My attached photo shows a hole where the gas might have entered the alcove outside my door.

The young man who was in charge of the breakfast area was outstanding, keeping items replenished and the tables and counters were spotless. Nice big bathroom and sink area. Bedding was clean and comfortable, as were the pillows. The receptionist provided us with a bottle of water for our onward journey.

Mattress frames were frayed, and the carpet had some spots. The windows were unopenable.

The room was clean and quiet. Easy access from the highway. The beds were very comfortable. There are a few restaurants nearby but we were in a hurry to get on the road so we had a quick breakfast at a McDonald's a short walk away.

Like most motels with combination heater/ AC, the fan was noisy so the room had to be warmed then the heater/AC shut off.

We traveled with three children 10 and under, so the breakfast was important. The kids (and four adults) appreciated the breakfast options. The pool was the other highlight!

The curtains didn't open all the way - poor curtain rod. Also stains on the carpet and caked on dust on the tops of the curtains.

This hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed in. I found no negatives anywhere, The breakfast was excellent, rooms were clean and the staff was super friendly and finally. the price was right. Great job folks!! HOTELS SHOULD SEND THEIR STAFF TO THIS HOTEL TO SEE HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE.

The breakfast offered more than I was expecting and the lady stayed on top of what needed to be replaced. She was very friendly. Crystal did our check in and had the right room for us. She was very efficient and pleasant in dealing with not only us but also other guests checking in.

There wasn't really anything we did not like and would definitely stay there again.

located close to my objective! and special place for dogs . dog friendly ! nice looking clean outside pool but I didn’t get to try it. next time

watch for Foxtails where you walk dogs. Can be harmful if they get in ears , eyes , fur. check dog to make sure they did not get embedded etc.
