Holiday Inn Express Mineral Wells, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast was exceptional. I had second servings of the sausage gravy and biscuits. I really appreciated that the gravy was not very peppery or spicy. The eggs were pretty good for buffet scrambled eggs and the bacon was excellent. It was definitely a high point of our stay. Our room was extremely clean, the sheets were soft and welcoming, and the whirlpool was a great pleasure to experience. The manager went beyond what was expected to make sure that our visit was a good experience and was affordable and it was much appreciated!

There were only two things out of the hundreds of things that I observed. While sitting in the car waiting for my boyfriend to check in, I noticed there were worms in the tree outside the front entrance. Coming from an area where worms have devastated a lot of the local trees, I know it is something that needs to be treated immediately. The other thing was when I was leaving the shower I noticed that the air vent in the bathroom was pretty dirty.

Everything was a plus and breakfast here... grab & go bags was a plus. The location was perfect...not far from other businesses and mall.Staff was extremely nice on all shifts. Hot tub was nice and room was very clean.

Everything was a plus and some...really enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to come back real soon.

Location and facilities

Our room was not clean during the stay. We were not informed that we have to notify them if we need cleaning even after we talk to the front desk after the first day when we called about it.

We had a Jr Suite that was planned out very well. The closet was actually in the area of the bedroom. This was a very nice quiet room.

Can't say anything good about the breakfast. We went out for breakfast. I realize that lots of things changed during COVID but nothing has returned that is good for breakfast.

We liked everything. Well designed, very clean room, great lighting, quality beds and linens. Definitely the best breakfast we’ve had on this road trip. Nice warm cinnamon rolls, a good selection of breads, bagels, English muffins, exceptional coffee, and very gracious breakfast service with a warm smile. Much appreciated.

Nothing.

The hotel is very clean and well equipped. Very nice fitness room with new high-end machines. Front desk, especially Melissa in the evening, very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We had a room with a beautiful countryside view. Noon checkout was nice.

I can't think of a negative thing. Maybe a bit of highway noise but not too bothersome and no interruption of sleep.

The pool included a hot tub which was nice for parents, very close to several restaurants, clean hotel.

The bedding didn’t have a clean smell. I thought the pillows and cases were not clean enough.

My oldest daughter enjoyed the pool! They were very friendly! And nice selection for breakfast!

We ended up leaving a day early because everyone was sick, but the offered no type of refund for the one night. But that may also be policy but I'm not sure.

Friendly staff, easy check in. The pool and hot tub was very clean. Nice breakfast choices.

Our room was was on the highway side. At first we thought the window was open. Truck traffic all night.

the staff is very friendly and they make sure you have everything you need. breakfast was great,the server is very friendly, treats you like family. the manager Pam helped us with setting up the IHG rewards program that we were having troubles with setting up. all the staff at the front desk were very helpful all around. i will be staying here again in the future
