Not any breakfast. Rooms are outside accessible and breakfast not the reason I chose motel. All on ground floor with outside access to vehicle for loading and unloading. Volunteer agenda was very heavy for 4 days.

Office not maintained 24 x7coffee not available for the coffee drinkers. Those had to cross busy highway to get to Medo's for coffee. Surprise next door guest, as key worked on my door when it was not locked during daylight hours.

I travel from the Twin Cities to the area for a couple of clients and the Home Motel is my favorite place to stay. You can't beat the price and the convenience of the location. In addition, the manager/owner is very nice and even refers the room as "my room." WiFi is good and it is clean with a space to work when I need to get something done.

It's everything I need - quiet, good wifi, convenient to eating place, gas stations and good coffee as I get back on the road in the morning (go to the coffee shop in Colby, WI). If I was a snob, I suppose I'd say it could use an upgrade but it's clean and it's quiet and I am paying around $55 to $60 (with taxes) per night, so it's great.

They did have coffee available in the office in the morning. The rate is very reasonable. The room is spacious for our stuff.

The floor seemed a little week over by the sink near the bathroom. It would have been nice to have the larger college dorm size fridge rather than the mini fridge, but we did have a good cooler that kept our food cold.

The room was comfortable, and we had plenty of space. The location worked well for us with the activities we had in the area. We appreciated that it was close to a grocery store and restaurants. It was a great value for the price.

It would have been good to have an extra towel bar in the bathroom.

The owners are wonderful, accommodating and helpful! The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. I appreciated the microwave and refrigerator in the room.

The TV was quite small, but that didn't bother us.

Value!! This is one of the last good values in overnight lodging that we have found. So great to have a comfortable place to stay for a night and not worry about going over budget. The room was efficiently laid out, comfortable (good mattress), warm, quiet and clean. Everything one needs when on the road. The owner is always on hand and very accommodating.

The heating system was noisy in our room - kept going on and off all night - but that is not the case in the last room we stayed in so it may just be that particular unit (would be an nonissue in warm months). Regardless, we will be back. In fact, booked again for next month.

Our room was such a good value. Furnishings are retro, nothing fancy, but all one needs for a good night's sleep. The bed was fine, the room could be made as warm (chili autumn day) as one wished (there was also an individual air conditioner), the bathroom was adequately clean and everything worked! We felt comfy and cozy. The host was very accommodating. We were looking for a motel to spend a night every few weeks in this area and I think we found it.

No breakfast provided (which is stated in the reservation) but who can complain at this price? Even though this is a no frills motel I noticed that there was a coffeepot in the lobby so I assume that the host would be willing to make coffee if someone requested it. We wanted an early cup so ran to McD's just down the street.

Great motel! Super clean, smelled great. Bed and pillows comfortable. Nice front desk manager who made sure I had my morning coffee. Affordable and a great location. Really loved this place. Would stay again!

Nothing I didn't like!

The man who checked me in was great. Friendly, funny, polite. I accidentally said we were arriving at 5 am and he joked with me about it. I just hope he didn't get up that early to check us in and we didn't arrive. I'd feel awful!! Great value for the price.

When you laid on the beds, you'd sink to the middle. Hard to sleep that way with 2 people in the bed.

This is an older motel that is well kept. No frills but also very inexpensive. Appreciated the printed TV channel list. Staff was very friendly. WiFi was secured network and did not require me to re-enter security key each day.

A simple towel bar in the bathroom would be a good addition. No outlet near bed is common in older hotels.
