I grew up for 17 years coming here at least once a month with my godfather and made so many memories. Staff was and is still really great. They accommodated my late check out without a problem and just overall very friendly. The pool has been switched to salt water that's awsome. I had a great time just sad to see the changes that are being made thru-out the years. Location is great, close to restaurants, salon and fox river mall and 10 mins from airport and downtown. Also the big open dome glass ceiling above pool makes for a nice day swim. The rooms have microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge.

I didn't like to see the real trees being 'trimmed' which was almost all gone. To me thats what makes this place so special. Sad to see the changes the new owner is making. The things that make this hotel stand out are are slowly disappearing. The suana, huge live trees even the area by the pool. I didn't like the ladders and mess in the area by the pool its just not a good look. Looks sloppy. I also do not like the vending and ice machines were removed from the second floor. Only one remaining is on 1st floor.

I remember staying at this hotel as a kid 30+ years and it is the same. although a different name now. My family and I have always enjoyed the salt water pool and the size of the pool area.

I don’t like how they switched to $5 only at the restaurant for breakfast and not a continental breakfast. The food at the restaurant is ok, but if I have to pay extra I would rather go to another restaurant with better quality food.

The staff were wonderful! Very friendly and accommodating, very gracious. We had trouble operating our shower, and a very nice young maintenance man left his post and went directly to our room to demonstrate how it worked. We complimented him on his excellent work ethic, rare to see in this day and age, especially among young workers. Our room was quite large and comfortable, by the luck of the draw we wound up with a double king room though we reserved a double queen. The location and price were very good. Very nice indoor pool area. Overall the place is clean and in good condition. We would stay here again.

The only drawbacks for us were the lack of an elevator, the breakfast setup, and the only mirrors were in the bathroom. We were on the second floor which made it a little more difficult getting luggage in and out, but using stairs during our stay was fine. The complimentary breakfast was located in the connected restaurant, and limited menu options available with the $5 vouchers provided by the hotel. It wasn't bad, but just different from what we were expecting. In these days of covid, it was probably the best alternative to a buffet style breakfast. It would have been nice to have a mirror in the room itself in addition to the bathroom mirror, but certainly not a deal breaker.

We booked for a family get together. It was a great place for a group. The bar area is recently redesigned and has an excellent area for seating a larger group. They have a large, airy pool area as well. The rooms were large and clean. The staff, front desk, bar, and restaurant were all outgoing and helpful. The Inn is a bit of hidden gem; not fancy, but everything one needs for a pleasant stay, and more.

The Location is a bit out of downtown.

Decent sized room with good facilities, but no carpet. Breakfast facilities at the hotel are not operating, so they gave us $6.50 vouchers to use at the restaurant next door, which got us small but very good breakfasts. You could pay for more if you wanted.

WiFi was terrible - kept dropping and download speed was awful.

Location was convient to the freeway . Received a voucher for breakfast at the restaurant next door and the food and service was good . The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accomodating . Room was nice and clean , as was the whole hotel . Would highly recommend .

Loved the room size for our family. Pool was awesome and WARM. Breakfast was delicious and the employees were very very nice, helpful and accommodating! Visiting Appleton once a month and will most likely make a standing reservation at this Clarion!

Bed was a bit hard.

We stayed one night, and everything was great. The room was clean and ready when we arrived (right at 3:00). Everyone we spoke to was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site was great, and while they were a little under staffed, and the food took a little longer than it should, they did have a sign up to let the guests know, so no one could really be too upset about that. 2 year old LOVED the pool area, which was never too crowded and there was a ton of space!

Didn't take advantage of the breakfast. Should've , cause the dinner was great..

Had a street light outside the window, was good as a night light, but kept me up at times.

This is an older Clarion Inn but bathrooms have been updated and are very clean and have relatively new sinks, tubs etc.. The carpets were clean , linens and towels white and very clean , stain free. The indoor pool area was very large and pleasant , but not humid like many indoor pools. The pool was exceptionally clean.

The outside appearance is questionable. it definitely look better in the day time, we arrived late at night.
