Centrally located and easy to walk into town to get a bite to eat. Rooms were clean and simple amenities (such as a bar of real soap) available. They had bicycles available free of charge and lots of trials to go and explore. Front desk staff helpfull and friendly.

Ground floor room a bit on the dark side as natural light did not get in due to a wooden fence infront of the window. It would be easy enough to redesign the wooden fence to allow both light and privacy for the room. A basic breakfast was on offer (free of charge), it was good but I could of done with more.

Great location and vibe. The rental records was a nice touch. The grab and go breakfasts were good and the staff were friendly. Was also great to be able to rent bikes for free

The room was a little dirty when we first arrived, but this was remedied. It's a shame the attached restaurant was closed during our stay. Some fruit options for the grab and go breakfasts would be good (apparently they sometimes have fruit, but again this wasn't an option during our stay)

Nice boutique hotel. Friendly staff. They have vinyl albums you can check out and play on a turntable in your room and a bunch of board games. It was a cold night so it was nice to have something to do, rather than just was TV. The restaurant is good too. Limited menu with COVID but the tatchos were delicious and filling.

There was only one USB port on one side of the bed and the other bedside light didn’t work. (Room 16). We got a buy one drink get one free chip, but when we looked at our final bill, they never took the second drink off the bill. They could do a better job cleaning the white tile in the bathroom shower.

Great location. Friendly staff. Amazing lounge with fantastic cocktails. Clean and comfortable. Loved all of the local art displayed throughout the property.

The only thing I would change is to have a coffee maker in our room. They did have free coffee, tea and oatmeal in the lobby which was fantastic. I’m just being nit picky here. I really don’t have any complaints at all. Loved this place!

The location and quality of the hotel was great. I was excited for the record players, that made it super fun. The hotel itself was beautiful. It is a unique experience so if your used to big chain hotels you might want to look elsewhere, but I would highly recommend this as a way to see Eau Claire and enjoy the experience e in a very boutique way.

I think the mattresses could be better, it was not as comfortable sleeping as I would have hoped. The only other thing was the doors to the bathroom being on a barn door rail causing pretty low noise sealing. We had a toddler who would come open the door while we were in the bathroom, and since he was sleeping in there it was difficult to use the bathroom without waking him up since it’s pretty much no sound stopping at all. Otherwise it was a great experience

Decor and ambiance were super cool. loved the turntable. staff was awesome. good coffee. the lakely was very good. loved the jazz in the gallery.

we were on the end so the road noise was terrible and the air conditioner didn’t have a plain fan setting so we couldn’t use it to cancel the noise. pillows were too big for my body and bed was too firm.

The hotel is in a perfect location downtown near shops and restaurants. We loved the arty vibe of the place and enjoyed a few drinks at the bar that had some great craft cocktails. My daughter and I checked out he bikes and went for a long ride on the bike paths in town - wonderful!

I wish there had been live music the night of our visit! The layout of the room was a little different with the sink in the main area. Maybe I'll stay in the Flats next time

The facilities are beautiful and far exceeded our expectation, especially for the price we paid. We would like to return to Eau Claire just so we can spend more than one night at the Oxbow! There's so much to see in this little building that we didn't have enough time to explore.

Since I am required to write about something I "didn't like," I guess the room could use a little updating. But honestly, I'm only mentioning this because I'm being forced to! Everything else was exceptional.

Fun & quirky place, loved the record player being in the room and the good selection of albums. Great location in downtown EC however many places were closed on a Monday. Staff was pleasant as well, would definitely recommend The Oxbow to others!

The room was a bit small but clean and comfortable. The price was at the top of what we would pay for a quick overnight stay but the location is good and we enjoyed our visit there. Very likely to return in the future.

great location with respect to bike trails and proximity to downtown Eau Claire dining. on-site dining, the Lakely, was very good, as was nightly entertainment. the no tipping expected policy was unexpected.

lighting throughout the room was dim, especially over the bathroom sink. makes shaving a bit of an adventure. futon was exceptionally hard and not comfortable to watch tv. amenities available for purchase were limited.
