We stayed in the Ambassador room, and it was absolutely beautiful! Very spacious, and we had everything we needed in the room. The bathroom was fantastic (the two person shower was probably as big as the rest of the bathroom), and there was room for everything. The whirlpool tub was great after a day exploring Door County, we spent an evening sitting around the coffee table playing a board game, the bed was very comfortable, the mini fridge had plenty of room, and our own Keurig was quite nice. The private rooftop patio was also nice. We spent a couple of mornings out there having our coffee and breakfast, while discussing our plans for the day. And the owners were great, too! I never met them in person, but they were in communication from the start, and always available. This is so much better than a standard hotel!

The facilities in the room were superb. We both had a great night sleep. The bed was roomy and comfortable. The shower was excellent. We could not work the hot tub / jacuzzi - I guess we should have contacted the owner bit we had bothered him enough.

The communication on the day telling us code to get through front door and room combination. We has spent all day in Door County with no phone signal so had not received the necessary information by the time we arrived. There was an issue with the room on arrival but this was completely and amicably sorted

My wife and I stayed here for our mini honeymoon and loved this place! They really thought of everything. It's close to shops and restaurants and really everything was in walking distance. We truly felt relaxed and at home here and can't stop talking about how we will definitely be back in the future. We can't say enough about how great this place is! The room we stayed in was the state room. I would definitely select this room if you can.

No return to serving breakfast since Covid restrictions yet, but hopefully they will be able to bring it back as we heard it was fantastic. A coffee and tea station was set up on the upper floor. They were very kind and set up a Kurig for our room since my husband was unable to do stairs at our visit. They answered our questions and must sees in the area, very helpful and accommodating. It was a great hub to explore Sturgeon Bay and easy to access and explore the peninsula of Door County. Enjoyed the early morning and evenings sitting on the porch. Lovely sitting room to meet with others if you want get out of your room.

Even though we chose this location from online searching, we could never had imagined our rooms would be this wonderful. The cleanliness of the entire building was outstanding, we had help with carrying our luggage into our room, and Ben's always making sure we were well taken care of made our stay very relaxing.

The only thing I would say we didn't like is that we couldn't stay longer! We probably won't be back in this area in the foreseeable future but if we do, we will be here!

The room was clean, comfortable and the deck was great for morning coffee. Located close to 3rd avenue where the shops and restaurants was ideal.

The grounds could be better maintained with a little effort of mowing and trimming shrubs. The exterior needs paint as well. It could be a really awesome boutique with a little extra detail and attention paid to the exterior of the building and grounds.

This location was perfect! We were close to a town favorite diner, bookstores, restaurants, and candy stores! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wanderlust Hotel and would definitely recommend this as a romantic getaway!

Honestly, we were very happy with our stay and do not have anything to complain about. We never met our hosts in person but they responded in a timely manner and provided for our every need! Keep up the good work!

NO food service. Very quaint and good location near 3rd street, although I wasn't that impressed with "3rd Street". Jacuzzi in the suite. Free parking in the front. Nice young couple recently bought it and are working on it,

Watch your head if you are tall--low corners/ceiling in parts of the suite. Needs a waste basket on the lower living room area. Nice walk in shower but could improve the water pressure. Whole building needs to be repainted.

Lovely room layout and conveniently located for shops and walk to harbor. Owner response to local sight seeing and dining was helpful.

Hotel is going through transition which meant that breakfast wasn’t available. it would also be nice to adjust the social space. The coffee was upstairs in a hallway and the downstairs sitting area needed something to make it more inviting. The front porch was nice to sit, although it faces a parking lot.

The location in Sturgeon Bay is perfect! Walking distance to restaurants, shops, the farmers market on Saturday, the marina, and much more. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! The private balcony was a highlight to our trip enjoying breakfast in the morning, and wine in the evening. The room and house had everything we needed from wine glasses / opener to robes to ice. The owners went above and beyond to make the stay exceptional.
