Excellent location in the heart of the Old Quarter, just around the corner from the cathedral and lots of nice coffee shops and restaurants. The good thing about the location is that it is down a side street from the main road, so it’s a bit quieter and you don’t get overwhelmed with traffic the minute you walk outside. We went for the room with balcony and it was big and comfortable with functioning AC. We thought it was decent value for money, especially for Old Quarter which seems to usually give tiny rooms.

The room is quite noisy: any music played on the rooftop or any noise made in the stairwell comes bouncing into the room through the bathroom window (which faces the stairs). The staff were not always the friendliest. The room is a little more dark and basic than the photos make it seem - but it’s still comfortable.

The location was good, but it was off the main roads, and you had to walk a bit as there was no way a taxi could get close. but the location is very close to St Joseph's Cathedral which for me was a fantastic bonus. It was close to the old area which was great to be able walk to the lake and main areas for night markets and great restaurants. The bathroom was fantastic with a great shower..

The alley it was located in is very Vietnam, but a little claustrophobic compared to other locations I've stayed in. The room was smaller than expected and the view from the balcony was below expectations.

The size of the room was perfect for two people, with easy access to most of the places within a 10 to 20-minute walk. Famous market to train street, from coffee cafes to eating places all near the hotel.

The bathroom Shower has no door, so water spills out and wet the area.
