It is in old quarters and close to night market and other attraction. It is in a narrow road. Host was super accommodative. The trip to ninh binh was well arranged. Breakfast was decent and helped us with vegan food.

The location is great of you want to explore the Old quarter, everything is within walking distance. Breakfast is ok, not much variety. People at the reception were very nice, the airport transfer for 500k is very convenient if you are a big group. We also used the late check out option which cost us 600k.

There are quite big differences in rooms, the room on the first floor is super noisy, from 5am you can already hear staff chatting and working since the room is not really soundproof. The triple rooms are quite difficult to navigate in 3 people, there is not much space to move around. On the other hand some doubles are huge, maybe unnecessarily big. Also the rooms have small, almost non existent windows si it is quite depressing in the morning.

This was the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in whilst travelling for over 2 weeks in Vietnam. We received a free upgrade to a room with a balcony and it was exceptional. Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Double glazed to minimise the street sound. The reception staff spoke excellent English and can help book trips if required. We only wish we could have stayed longer than the 1 night we’d planned.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, but we offer the following constructive feedback. Breakfast was a rush for us so that we could meet our transfer to Halong Bay. It would have been helpful if the plates of salad and fruit had been replenished quicker to enable us to have some, as other guests had cleared the plates and we had to leave before they were refilled. Minor point which wouldn’t have been an issue hx we had more time, but offered for the Hotel’s consideration.

this is a great location to stay for exploring the old quarter of hanoi. this hotel is great because of Ms Kim- she is so incredibly helpful. she helped us book a cruise to lan ha bay (after i asked a lot of questions and was being indecisive but she was patient), sleeper bus to sapa, day trip to ninh binh and transport to and from airport. it was great to save time booking all these things myself and also i saved so much time doing less research/planning. she also answered a ton of questions via whatsapp throughout our trip. we stayed in 3 different rooms (hanoi was our base for exploring the north) and they all had similar setups (and moldy bathrooms- could use replacement curtains). the rooms without balcony are less expensive but actually better for sleep because it’s super quiet and dark. tthey kept our luggage while we left for over a week. all of the staff went above and beyond!

the hotel room itself was fairly clean, but the shower has mold in it. he balcony rooms are facing the street so they’re louder, we did it for a night and did enjoy the balcony during the day, but i wouldnt want to do it for too long if you’re a light sleeper.

Though I stayed in Hanoi Golden Holiday Hotel for only 2 nights, I had an extremely pleasant time. The staff is super friendly and helps with whatever you need if it's within their capabilities. The receptionists helped us find late night restaurats, exchanged our currencies, sold us sim cards, and even booked us a cab to the airport at a significantly lower rate than Grab app. The location is top tier, we only took grab cab twice during our stay since everything we planned to see was easily within walking distance. Personally I have never tried eating at the hotel, so I can't comment on that, but there are plenty of street food and groceries within 1-3 blocks. I'll definitely rebook them if I'm to visit Hanoi again.

The bed was huge and very comfortable. The location is right in the heart of the old quarter and walking distance to all the main attractions. The old quarter is hectic with traffic and people but once you are inside the hotel it is nice and quiet. The breakfast was good and they cater for all dietary needs. The receptionist, Kim, is delightful and very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to booking trips or asking for local advise. She speaks excellent English and nothing was too much trouble for her.

Hanoi Golden Holiday is just a perfect place in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter. The hotel is special because of people working there with passion, smile and always ready to support: Ms Kim, Mr Happy and one another Mr (unfortunately don't remember the name). During our stay staff helped us to book tickets to Sa Pa, showed on the map what to visit in Hanoi and kept our luggages during our travel to another cities of Vietnam. We could ask about everything and always received the answer to all our questions. In case you need airport transfer or trip to Ha Long Bay you can ask at reception and they will help you to organise everything. Hotel itself is very clean with comfortable beds. In the room is nice decoration. In the morning is served tasty breakfast. When we traveled early in the morning we received breakfast to take away :) Totally we stayed in the hotel 3 nights and highly recommend it to everyone. You will not regret :)

Hotel staff was extremely friendly- and always someone saying hi to me with a smile! Room was very spacious and comfortable, and the double glass doors facing the street made any noise disappear. Room came with everything you could need - slippers, toilet sandals, a tea pot, tea, coffee, water, and personal care items. Breakfast was basic, but above average for hotel breakfast in my opinion. Great location, on one of the more quiet streets in the area. Laundry service was great, and quick.

Very good location and lovely helpful staff, with excellent English. Room was good for the price we paid, everything felt clean, comfortable and safe. It's a very good medium- price hotel. We were able to rent a room for day use on our last day, which was great. Good airport shuttle service. 300k dong.

Not Much. Breakfast was ok for the price, but not exceptional. We had mattresses stored in the corridor outside the room, so a bit messy.

Overall decent hotel to stay! The rooms were quite nice and spacious. Location is good - everything is nearby and can be accessed by foot. The best part of the hotel was the wonderful lady at the reception Ms Kim! She was extremely jovial, polite and helpful! Great hospitality by her!

Unfortunately the time we were staying there was renovation going on nearby, hence the hotel became noisy. But on a usual day, the property is quiet.
