Great location in a small alley. Very safe and just one minute away from a convenient neighbourhood. Small convenience store with western products nearby (L's place), lots of coffeeshops and restaurants within a 5 minutes walk, touristic attractions within a 10-15 minutes walk. Special mention for the small coffeeshop in the alley called "Mallard". The appartment itself was very clean and practical, had a home vibe, great light during the day, quiet ambiance. I had personal inquiries that Melanie and her dad answered to in a very simple, professional and helpful way. All in all I really liked my stay and I will come back on my next trip to Hanoi!

Everything was really great but I do have to mention 2 things for other guests to hold all information before booking: - Room was on an upper floor. I had to carry my luggage up, Melanie helped me a great deal (thanks again!). If you are planning to come with heavy luggage, you should consider this - The bed mattress was a little hard. It does not bother me at all, I don't like soft beds. But I think that people with back problems may want to think about it beforehand - maybe other rooms in the other service appartments are softer, just ask the owner!

The owner was so nice. As I had a motorbike accident I was not able to walk or use the stairs, so she manage to change the room we were supposed to stay (2nd floor) to another one in the first floor with no stairs. I didn't ask for it, she proposed it, and I think that's was really the nicer thing she could have done. Also we can book a taxi with them for the transport to Airport, and the taxi driver was so nice too. My boyfriend enjoy one of the trip we can book through the hotel to go in Halong Bay (we were supposed to be there for few days but because of my accident we couldn't) so it was really easy to do for him and he enjoyed it too.

As I couldn't move because I had a motorbike accident, what I didn't like was the confort of the mattress. I'm sure just for few nights it's ok, but as I had to stay there all day & nights, it was not the best.

The room was very clean and cosy, gives off very rustic Vietnamese living vibes. Wi-Fi was fast, didn’t have any issues as I worked remotely from the room. Location is great, walking distance to a lot of shops and food was easily accessible. Host was friendly and very accommodating, customer service was excellent. Overall neighbourhood was safe and as a solo female traveller, I felt very safe even when walking alone at night. Would definitely stay there again when in Hanoi. Absolute gem!

Rooms are like small apartments. I could stay here for 2 weeks. (or more). I had the opportunity to stay in two different rooms and I would definitely recommend it. The beds were comfortable (which is rare in Southern Asia), the place was clean, AC worked perfectly. The bathrooms were ok but unfortunately, as it happened in all hotels I stayed when you get a shower, it will get all wet. (no curtains) Anh and his father are fabulous hosts. They will help you with everything you need. (tours also). You can pay with a credit card! You can leave your bags there in case you need to check out before your flight ( I left them for 2 nights and then return to spend my last night in Hanoi) It is located in a neighborhood of embassies and it is very fancy! It is close to the main tourist attractions and the bus to get to the airport is just a 5 min walk. Free water, coffee, tea, TV (English and Vietnamese)

Nothing. I traveled for 1 month and Little Anh House was the best place I stayed. It is much more expensive than other places but definitely worth it.

Charming interior. Comfortable bed. Great location, away from main roads (no traffic noise) but in walking distance to the Old Quarter, Hoàn Kiếm Lake, and French Quarter (shoutout to Mallard Coffee right around the corner too!). Lan (the owner) was very responsive and helpful via WhatsApp, but we unfortunately didn't get to meet her.

There was some construction noise from a neighbouring house, but that's no really their fault or something they can do anything about.

We loved this little hotel very much. All the communication was smooth. The area is safe and quiet. The room we booked was the cheapest and the smallest one, but still it had a kitchen with a kitchenware. Very nice design, feels like home.

There was a place where you could prepare a meal but there was no table where you could eat it. Why? Because all free space is occupied with a sofa where potentially can sleep 2 people more. Which is a cool option for someone but we would prefer a proper table to a coffee table.

Great location - hidden in a calm alley, close to many interest points. Nice convenience store and restaurants/cafes around the corner. The apartment is well equipped and suited for a long stay with home cooking. Owners were communicative, reactive and helpful by message. They took care of laundry for our group and helped find a missing item afterward.

The 3 beds of the triple room were kinda hard - thin mattress and wood frame below. Not the end of the world but can matter for some!

The room itself is very spacious, the kitchen area is nice, the little balcony and high ceilings are also big plusses. The location is also quite close to the old quarter and many restaurants are nearby.

The communication with the host wasn't very smooth. I had to reach out to them in regards to check-in and check-out. The windows aren't isolated so it's quite noisy but nothing earplugs can't help.

One of the best accommodations we had in Hanoi and Vietnam overall. Clean, cozy and stylish interior which makes you feel at home. We stayed again when we had to go back to Hanoi a couple days later.

Not a big deal, but two books in the room turned out to be simply fake ones, a decoration. No need to do that :-) you can always get some real leftover books somewhere - or take the ones backpackers leave behind.
