Impressive suite with big ample space. 2 wide wall screen TVs each at the cellar & in the room gives us the choice to be at either place. 2 washrooms to use at will & a wider beautiful bird-eyes-view of the area. Location is very good with only 10mins walk from The Old Quarter & Hoan Kiam Lake plus Trang Tien Plaza(Shopping Centre). Local traditional Vietnamese food shops just few minutes away from Hotel. Staffs from front desk to housekeeping very friendly & helpful. Wish to highlight one morning when we ran out of water to boil, one housekeeping lady happen to be outside our room. Told her we need two bottles of water & immediately she brought to us without any delay. We then went out for sightseeing & upon our return, the room was done well & to our surprise, there was an extra 1.5litres bottle water beside the usual ones. How thoughtful was that lady & the extra mile of service given⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

there should be an option at lobby to refill water bottles to encourage more sustainable behaviour amongst guests . daily plastic water bottles should be a thing of the past

We visited the Melia Hotel for our honeymoon and we are so glad we chutes this hotel. It beautiful and everything felt luxurious. The service was exceptional. We tried the breakfast buffet one morning and it was delicious. The lobby bar had happy hour everyday and we loved going to get a drink before dinner. There was a live band playing during happy hour that was lovely. It was a bit of a walk to the main entertainment area/old quarter but we enjoyed taking the longer walks and that meant it wasn’t loud in our area.

The property is modern inside, the rooms and amenities within were luxurious and in keeping with the 5* rating. The bathroom was lovely also. The gym is brilliant for a hotel with a wide range of modern equipment, the pool was lovely. It’s around a 10-15 minute walk, all flat ground, to the old town, and 10-15 minutes from train street so it couldn’t be better positioned.

It’s very pro-Russian unfortunately. Its exterior is not very pleasant. The air con wasn’t very good, it felt like there was no cool air but its a central system and winter so maybe it was turned off.

Excellent location, safe surrounds, easy to grab. Location is very near and central to wherever we wish to go to. Very comfortable beds and pillows, nice big toilets, very clean. All the staff were very helpful when we needed help with directions, etc. They approach you when they sense that u need help, they really use their discretion and initiative. It’s my first time staying at Melia and I like the services and will continue to stay in Melia hotels for future trips.

we should have been informed that out of the 3 rooms I booked only two rooms have breakfast included when we checked in. the misunderstand was not a good experience. but it is booking.com’s fault to not include the breakfast for one of the rooms. when I booked it it was stated breakfast included.

The Asian restaurant is only opening for dinner.

I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could. First of all, you get a sense of luxury as soon as you arrive. The staff is amazingly friendly, contrasting with an otherwise unfriendly city. We had a suite on a high floor with a corner view - possibly the best room I've ever experience in my life. When we told them we were on our honeymoon, they prepared for us a beautiful little cake and greeting card - it's little things like this that make it an even more amazing experience. Breakfast was also incredibly rich and diverse. Thank you, Melia Hanoi!

Cannot possibly find a fault for this hotel. It was absolutely fantastic.

The room and staff were great. The breakfast buffet was good with a lot of variation as well. Very convenient location to reach the city centre/Old quarter without having the busy and noisy streets bother you too much.

Would love to have the daily amenities (I.e. toothbrush, toothpaste, cottonbuds, etc) to be separated. And this is quite a common thing to a lot of places and not just Melia to be fair.As we might only need one of them and opening the whole package, then getting everything replaced every day was a little wasteful. Otherwise, the place was perfect, and we will definitely come back.

Great hotel. Big building lexerious. Staff are so helpful and nice. Location is great. The room is comfortable. I booked it, the next day i checked out kept my laugage in the hotel went to cruise and came back. They are fast and really professional and it is a well established hotel. Pictures does not show the reality and the luxury specially with ground floor and how big is the hotel.
