We are so geateful for everything what we have got from this hotel. This was our best decision. The perfect location, the friendly room where it was happines to get home after a tiring sightseeing day. The stuff is super kind, helpfull and stand out attentive. We are greatful for them, because the first minute Till the last they cared about us and helped for us. Thank you Cici, Huy and special thanks for Thomas. Thomas is on of the most kind and helpfull receptionist who We met during our travel. He is extremly prepaired and super kind. During the time What We spend here he immediately helped us and gave us perfect and useful advise. He helped us a lot and We appreciate it. We are wait to come back here . The staff (Sisi and Tom) were the absolute highlight of our stay! They were so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about what we needed to know during our stay. The room was big and the air con + internet worked well. Location was great: near to train station and walkable for basically everything in the centre. Communication was great before and during our stay, including helping to book us on to Ninh Binh and Ha Long bay trips, as well as our airport transfer.

The bathroom wasn't great, with the shower soaking the bathroom floor unless you have it in the exact right position!

The staff were absolutely wonderful. Cici was especially great when dealing with the customer. She has a wide knowledge of the area, and was happy to offer any advice or suggestions. The property is situated between Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. Plenty of good restaurants.

The room wasn't as clean as I would have hoped. There was mould on the back bathroom door, and we had ants in our room. They were also in the jug. I pointed out where they were coming in from. I bought some detergent and a sponge to do some cleaning. The jug smelt of plastic.

Very nice place and great helpful staff. We extended our stay with one night and even got a small discount. We had a big room on the 7th floor with windows and even though we could hear sounds from the streets is wasn’t loud at night. It’s very quiet compared with all other places I’ve stayed in Hanoi.

There was some construction work going on next door, so in the morning we experienced noise from the machines, but that is often the case in Hanoi, so I would still say that this place it a good choice if you want a more quiet place to stay in the city center. And anyway it’s not the fault of the hotel..

The hotel is tucked away down a narrow alley, so despite being so close to attractions like Train Street and the Food Street, it was quiet and peaceful in the hotel itself. Both the daytime and nighttime attendants spoke excellent English and were very helpful in giving us some recommendations for places to visit while we were in Hanoi. They also helped us book our travel to our next destination, and were generally friendly, funny, and welcoming. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, good AC and hot water in the shower, plus a minibar in the room with some water and snacks at a very affordable price.

There are many things we like about Urban Alley. Located in old quarter and easy to access some tourist destinations such as water puppet show, hoan kiem lake, street food and so on. As Me and my husband are foodie, we love to try all street food and good restaurants which is all walking distance from the hotel. The most we appreciate is their personalized service and one stop shop service. We are first time in Vietnam and taking a tour to other destinations such as Halong bay, SAPA, Hao Lu, Trang An, Mua Cave with the arrangement of receptionist Thomas and hotel owner Mrs Bich. It is really worth to pay compare to your so called luxury trip. We felt heart warming stay with their sincerity, care and flexibility.

NA. If they can provide bathrobe will be much better. ( That’s not really important ).

the lady in the reception CICI was exceptional and great she s the best host i have to say in my whole travel . from the time i stepped in until i left she took care of me like a nurse i have helping me out even my friend who came TO VISIT ME COZ I WAS A BIT SICK COZ OF MY LONG TRAVEL FROM NORTH TO SOUTH OF VIETNAM I WAS LIKE TIRED AND Stay AT Airport to SEND MY GOD MOTHER TO FRANCE I Developed A CONSTANT FEVER NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO OFFER HELP ALWAYS ON HER PH SO I SLEPT OFF AND WHEN I WOKE UP SHE IS GONE AND I REQUESTED A HELP ND BASICALLY SHE CAME ALL OUT TO HELP ME OUT SO MUCH SO TO ORDER A WARM Vegetarian FOOD FOR ME AND THR WARMTH AND CARE SHE GAVE MADE TEARS IN MY EYES . I WOULD VERY HIGHLY Recommend THIS PLACE AS I WANTED TO STAY MORE BUT IT WAS FULLY BOOKED . CICI MY HEARTY THANKS TO YOU . If I could give 10 stars I would. In a city where the foreign tourist or backpacker on a budget is treat like a money bag this hotel is kind courteous and will be honest and truthfull with you about everything... the front desk young man gave us the best information about everywhere around town, where to go what to do... he also booked us an actually genuine discounted trip for Ha Giang loop tour however after discovering you really need a specific driver's permit for riding bikes up there due to police cracking down on tourists he let us know. He could have easily let us carry on no refund etc and we would have been none the wiser due to our own ignorance however he pre-warned us and potentially saved us an extremely hefty fine. We had to cancel as I did not want to ride on the back with someone but he got us all our money back and genuinely cared that we had to cancel. This is a testament to this hotel in a city where it feels like there is a potential scam or shortchanged at every turn... this hotel is more than just a room it will make your experience in the city of Hanoi. You can feel safe and trust the lovely people running it... the young man needs a raise as he will be the making of this hotel. The best value for money here 👌

TV could have been bigger but for the price it's not an issue

Every member of staff was very kind and generous with their time and willingness to help us. Beds were clean and comfortable. We just looked for somewhere to be able to rest at the end of two very long and busy days, and this satisfied that. Location is near busy street, but situated far away enough so that the noise does not reach you and keep you up at night. Vibrant environment that was easily accessible

There was a bit of dirt underneath the beds that seems to have been forgotten about, but wasn't enough to deter us from wanting to stay

The hotel is very well located and quite easy to find. The room we had was in excellent shape and condition, very comfortable and clean. Windows we could open with quite little noise outside - and a beautiful view, airconditioning and hot water. Chúc has been the most welcoming, heartful and helping person we've met here so far. He helped us figure out at take care of the next steps of our trip, for which we are utterly grateful!

The breakfast was limited and thus according to us not worth the 2$ which were charged pp.
