My recent stay at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable—attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. The room was stunning, blending timeless elegance with modern comforts, making it a luxurious retreat after exploring the city. The hotel offers a variety of beautiful dining and bar options, each with its own unique ambiance and exquisite cuisine. The gym was well-equipped and maintained, perfect for staying active during my stay. The concierge service truly elevated my experience by seamlessly arranging a personalized tour, making my visit to Hanoi smooth and stress-free.

Excellent food, excellent staff, great location.

Main hotel was closed and we were not informed about this. The photos advertised look nothing g like the newer wing where you will stay. It felt like false advertising.

The Sofitel Metropole sets a high bar for service, location and facilities. We ate in all the restaurants during our stay and the food was excellent. A historic hotel where the staff really do go the extra mile to make your stay very easy and you are made to feel very special. The Majordomo service and Club room give even more personal touches and the limousine to and from the airport made it so easy and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Nothing, it really was great.

general overall the hotel is very nice and it is located in premium location. the room and the service was top notch. the facilities and the hotel architrave the vibes is very mesmerizing good for chilling and relaxing a couple of days after heavy hectic plans and tour in Vietnam. it was very rewarding to me.

some of the receptionist were a bit not cooperative. they have asked me to pay extra some of money to change the room from twin beds to single bed.

Excellent service, beautiful building, and incredibly quiet considering the location. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were incredibly helpful, no matter the request.

The milk used in the coffee (lattes etc) is UHT, which is pretty disappointing considering the standard they're trying to project and the amount charged. The pillows were enormous, but too soft and unsupportive. Pretty minor criticisms considering how great everything else was

Beautiful historical hotel. We loved the tour by the historian. Great atmosphere.

The only thing we missed was a coffee machine such as Nespresso in the bedroom.

The Metropole Hanoi is an exquisite property. Our room was large and beautifully appointed. All the public areas of the hotel were lovely, especially the bar and the more casual dining room. The people and service were excellent, with everything taken care of easily. Conveniently located, so you could walk to most things you may want to see.

The Spice Garden restaurant was decent but expensive. The tour of the underground bunker is skippable.

The room was absolutely perfect: welcoming, cosy and offering all the possible toiletries that I could think of. Breakfast was as good as any Dubai Brunch that Ive experienced...great also for vegans and vegetarians, the staff couldn't help me enough with whatever I requrested given my challenging dietary requirements.

That I had to check out. I wanted to stay at least a few more days. I ll be back for sure.

Old world charm, with exceptional customer service. Everything about this hotel is first class. Everything at this hotel is manicured right down to the greeting you receive every time you enter a hotel space. We stayed here for 3 wonderful nights to break up a trip from Paris to Sydney and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The restaurant here , especially Angelina’s and their wonderful staff, is a really stand out. Step outside and you are transported to old world Hanoi and everything that goes with that, the heat, the chaos, the madness, but step back and you are transported back into luxury, yet still in beautiful Hanoi. We will definitely be coming back.

Nothing not to like.

The property is centrally located and comes with a lot of history. It is in fact a beautiful hotel and you can quickly see its allure with travelers and locals a like

Again, it’s a beautiful luxurious hotel, however, it is a bit formal and lacks warmth. I felt this especially with management who seem to avoid interacting with guests. On the other hand, some of the staff were just wonderful and helpful, especially the butler service
