The room was large with a large bathroom and balcony, double glassed windows kept the noise down, In the hallway it was like a art exhibition. This hotel bought old world charm with new world care, one street away from walking street a must see especially on Saturdays night, I would recommend this over the party area that was recommend, the streets are clean and less crowded, before leaving I stayed one night with the tour in the party area , wouldn't have enjoyed a week there at all

The walk to the riverside was close but crossing the main road was exhilarating to say the least but not in a good way. The AC was not working in the gym on one of the days

We have been to HCMC many times (at least once a year) and this is the first time we are staying at this hotel as we tend to stay around Ben Thanh market all the while. The location of the hotel is superb, right in the center and very convenient to move to other parts of the city, all within 5-15mins of walking distance, like to the city hall, cafe building, saigon center/saigon square, notre dame cathedral of saigon/general post office, independence palace etc. Our hotel room was spacious, neat and clean with a big TV screen mounted on the wall with a TV programme listing! (my cousin one was equally good though smaller but with a balcony) The beds are comfortable and we had very good rest every night. The restaurant offered great buffet breakfast, with a mixed of local and western dishes and about 50% of the dishes were changed everyday and thus giving diners different "varieties" instead of the repeated dishes. There's also a live cooking station where you can order different kinds of egg dishes, like omelet, fried eggs etc. What's good is that is alfresco. You can have a good street view. Service staff were helpful, polite and room service was very well done. There's also a swimming pool on the 8th floor with a massage/spa facility which we went too, very professional and good job. Overall, we had a good and wonderful stay here and will surely return when we return for our visit next year!

Yes, indeed as pointed out by previous reviewers, the hotel is dated and not those with the modern and trendy look. Some of the buttons in our room are "out of the order" and the lights could not be turned off (unless we take out the door card that powers everything on or off). Also, the restaurant being located on the 7th floor where the lift will only go to level 6, and one has to walk up and down. (a little challenging for my 90yo mum). That's all.

The hotel itself was very nice, the rooms were big. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bath is quite deep, especially for an elderly person or someone with knee problems. They really need to have some rooms with a walk-in shower. We loved the balcony to stand and watch the world go by that was interesting (no seats on balcony) it can be loud from horns and traffic but once back inside with door shut it's no problem at all. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is great. You can walk to so many restaurants/cafes, walking street even Macca's if that's what you want.

The lack of communication was really difficult because not many could speak even the basic English, especially the breakfast staff. Most seemed happy and were doing a great job clearing table's etc.

Great location easy distance to walk to market and other tourist attractions. Definitely would stay again for a 3rd visit. Really enjoyed having breakfast on the rooftop dining area. Pool was good to cool off in the heat. Thanks for the pleasant stay😀

Shower was in a bath and a little difficult to get in and out of, especially as the floor became wet as the shower curtain didnt contain all the water. The bath moved while showering as it's didn't appear to be fixed to the floor. This is the only thing that could be better.

The location is unbeatable! Really glad I stayed here as it was near where I wanted to be. It was a higher range place from the kind I usually stay, so I felt like a VIP. The staff was amazing and the receptionists spoke great English. The room was a bit old-fashioned but clean and functional. The breakfast area was fantastic and the breakfast options were also great.

I probably booked it this way as I chose that kind of room, but my room overlooked a wall which was a bit sad and couldn't really see daylight. But never mind, the rest was great.

The hotel is very well maintained and everything looks so clean and bright. The room has everything we need, nothing missed. We are on the second floor facing a side street, but it's unexpectably quiet. The rooftop breakfast is the highlight. We enjoyed the rooftop city view and the great selection of food of both Western and Asian options. Another highlight is the staff. All staff smile and provide professional service. We are glad that we have chosen to stay at Huong Sen on our first two days in HCMC.

The price is cheap for such a good location. Breakfast is ok and I feel enjoy to have breakfast at roof top. The hotel building is not new but the room is clean. The people are very friendly. I am love to stay this strategic hotel again.

My room is near to a "pub" maybe, as I can hear 'great' music every night. But no worry for me.

The location of the Hotel is very Prime. All the city tour locations are within a distance of 1Km. You don't have to worry about Money exchange as they are at 50meters distance from the hotel. Food is Good and tasty. We are vegetarian and as per our request they have taken care of it. However, if you are Non vegetarian, then you have a lot of options.

In their washroom, there is no Jet spray 😂😂 This was a little awkward for us. Rest everything was fine.

During my recent one-night stay at Huong Sen Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, I had a pleasant experience that left a positive impression. Great location and staff great and attentive. My only criticism is the shower. I thought it could have been better, ours was possible missing the big top part but besides that, great. Breakfast extremely appetising. Stayed here back in 2019 as well.
