Fabulous hotel, well priced, great location and beautiful swimming pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Staff were so welcoming, breakfast was amazing with a fabulous variety of food to choose from. And to top it all off, we got a room upgrade :)

I had a foot massage in the chair setting at their spa and enjoyed it, however, I did notice that the couple along me finished before me and their masseuses just rolled up the towels they used on their feet to reuse for the next person. This is not at all the hygienic practice you would expect at this level hotel. I did mention it and my masseuse quickly replaced the towels. This definitely needs to be addressed.

My stay at Almanity was nothing short of remarkable! From the moment we arrived, the hotel’s pristine beauty and cleanliness left a lasting impression. The impeccable service truly set it apart – the staff’s attentiveness and eagerness to cater to our needs made us feel like valued guests. To our delight, we were upgraded to a more luxurious room, and the opportunity to extend our stay by an additional two nights in the same room was a wonderful gesture that we greatly appreciated. The rooms themselves were a perfect blend of elegance and comfort, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay. One of the true highlights was the outstanding breakfast selection. With a delightful array of both international and Vietnamese dishes, every morning felt like a culinary adventure. The inviting atmosphere of the spa, combined with the expertly executed treatments, provided a serene escape from the bustle of daily life. While the spa’s massage offerings were somewhat limited, the quality of the massages they did offer was exceptional, leaving us feeling rejuvenated and pampered.

In the midst of this fantastic experience, there were a couple of minor inconveniences that stood out. The Wi-Fi connectivity wasn’t as consistent as we would have liked. Additionally, the in-room hairdryer was quite cumbersome to use. Holding down a button for the entire duration of drying proved to be uncomfortable and left our hands fatigued. Notably, the hotel’s age was evident, and ongoing maintenance work was noticeable throughout our stay. Despite these minor setbacks, they were overshadowed by the overall positive atmosphere and experiences we encountered.

Good location for the old town. Great pool area. Comfortable rooms and very comfortable beds Staff were amazing and really helpful, especially Danh at the poolside who did everything with a smile, Thingh at the main entrance who was always ready with a few suggestions on where to go for the day and the manager Bingh who was very friendly and always found time to speak to all the guests and was helpful in booking excursions and arranged for our room to be decorated as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Can not recommend this hotel enough and I’m sure that if you choose to visit here you will not be disappointed!

The hotel is in a great location for walking into the old town but in lovely grounds and very quiet. Breakfast was excellent, lots of options both Western and local. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely welcome from Diep who gave us some good recommendations. Breakfast staff were also always great. Deluxe twin room was a good size with very comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool is gorgeous but was very cold in February. Spa was lovely, bamboo massage was great.

Very few vegetarian options on pool and room service menu. Pool would benefit from being heated as pretty unusable for us. We heard the hotel next door has a heated pool so it’s doable! Few maintenance issues that we put on our feedback form but nothing of major note.

Special thanks to Thinh for making us feel welcome from the start (good luck with the baby), to No for the warm check-in and room upgrade, to MyMy for checking in with us frequently during our stay and to hard-working Thanh greeting us with a smile at breakfast every morning. Also thank you to Ngoc and all the other kind staff members that we are not specifically mentioning here. We had a pleasurable 1 week stay at Almanity Hotel. It was the best hotel during our stay in Vietnam and the one coming the closest to a (European) 5 star hotel. Fantastic breakfast, great pool area, good gym and kind, English-speaking staff.

The beach facilities do not match the hotel vibe; the shower in the room looks old; the bicycles are quite outdated; during the last days of our stay we found the amount of photos being taken by other guests in/ around the swimming pool quite disturbing.

I love the location, the staff and the spa in the resort. I had a massage session at the spa and it was exceptional. There is a hospital located right across the road. One evening our daughter had a medical emergency and the staff escorted us to the hospital, stayed with us to wait for the test result and getting medication. I would like to express my gratitude to Q Huy, Danh, Tan, Nhung and V Huy. They all did their best to help us get the treatment for our daughter at the hospital. They also came to ask for our daughter’s condition in the next day. They truly care for the residents and we feel truly welcomed there.

Location was walking distance from the old town and close to many great facilities. The breakfast buffet is very good with a great selection of Western and Asian dishes. The banh mi & banh xeo served in the buffet was some of the nicest of our whole Vietnam trip. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay, especially Minh from front desk. We had minor issues with taps from our bathroom basin but they responded very quickly and sorted the issue with hast. I can’t fault the service of the staff.

The walls are a little thin so you can hear other guests leaving and entering their rooms. If they fixed this issue, the hotel would be perfect.

This place is beautiful & we absolutely loved our stay. Minh went above & beyond to help make our stay more comfortable & all of his recommendations were amazing - must try Madame Bahn Mi & Morning Glory. The resort is the perfect walking distance to Old Town. The only down part was the pool was freezing but it was January and the weather wasn’t very warm. My husband also wasn’t a fan of the loft style rooms so if you’re someone who doesn’t want to walk up/down stairs to go from your bed to bathroom, I would suggest getting one of the other rooms. Our kids on the other hand loved the loft. The breakfast was delicious & offered a huge variety of cuisines. We would definitely visit again and loved everything the resort had to offer. Loved everything. The staff, service and food was exceptional. Beautiful resort, highly recommend. They held a Gala Dinner for New Years and it was the best new years I have ever been to (without any extra charge on us too), kept us suprised with every act, incredible all you can eat food, magician, kareoke, fashion show and DJ (and more). We appreciated the effort and it really made our time in Hoi An. I think this event demonstrated how much care Almanity has for their customers. The venue itself is gorgeous and we loved the Koi fish garden out front. Would absolutely recommend this resort and we are very thankful for the resort for our time and NYE event. The staff, their service and their absolute care for us was the best part of the whole experience, this would make us come back more than anything else!

Great location, short walk to the beautiful Old Town. Very friendly & helpful staff. Rooms very clean. Pool was surprisingly warm to swim in already, at this time of year & very relaxing. Spa massage was very good. Hotel provided cars with good drivers when needed (particularly Mr. Vu, who tooks us to Hai Van Pass & beyond).

Rooms a bit dated. No barista coffee at breakfast, just machine coffee you have to make yourself, which to a coffee lover is undrinkable. Had to go to the nearby great cafes in the Old Town, for my morning double espresso caffeine hit.
