Super nice hotel with very friendly people. We felt very safe and welcomed here. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The balcony was very nice to have and we always had very quiet nights. The smiles welcoming you to breakfast were warm and bright. They also catered awesome for us as we are vegetarian and vegan, we always had enough food to choose from for breakfast. It is just a 20-minute walk to the center of Oldtown. Around the hotel, you can find a big variety of restaurants, also vegetarian/vegan ones. We can highly recommend this hotel for an even longer stay in Hoian.

We booked for 7 nights and stayed 9, so we obviously liked Banana Garden. Like all hotels, it's a bit outside of Old Town, but you can borrow the hotel's bikes for free and bike along the river. It's easy, pretty, and safe to bike to town. We enjoyed being in a more typical Vietnamese neighborhood with plenty of places to eat nearby. The rooms were spotless, and they were cleaned well every day, to the point where our belongings were nicely organized. The pools were a blessing in the heat.

While the staff was very kind and helped as best you could, almost all of them spoke little to no English. Of course, we're in Vietnam, so it's not right to complain about this, but it's hard to get much accomplished. Also, Vietnamese families from other cities love Banana Garden and come on weekends (our stay spanned two weekends.) Large groups show up and spend much of the morning at the pool, beginning at 6:00 in the morning. They are not quiet, and there might be 12+ people swimming at one time. Again, being a bit loud and waking early is culturally Vietnamese, so we can't complain, but... it is what it is.

The breakfast was really good, lots of choice and made to order eggs and pancakes plenty of fresh fruit. Pool small but very nice. Nice and clean with fresh towels and water daily. Location is excellent just a short walk from old town along the river. Staff were kind and helpful to book anything you require. Free bikes which we used to go to the beach about 30 mins away.

It's not really a criticism as can't help the size but our room was quite small with tiny bathroom, my husband kept banging his head on the towel rail when exiting shower.

A great fortnight spent at The Banana Garden. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable, even surprising me with a birthday cake on my birthday and inviting guests to a dinner which they hosted. The rooms were comfortable and pools refreshing and clean. Breakfasts were cooked to order due to being a quiet time during the low season, but there were options and food tasty. Always looked forward to breakfast. Banana pancakes were a hit and the fresh fruit mouth-watering. We liked the location, away from the bustle of the old town and if we wanted to go anywhere of great distance the free bikes were a bonus. Restaurants around the Villa were top rate. We can recommend and would return if we find ourselves back in Hoi An.

The staff is outstanding. They are very nice and helpful. They helped us to book the memories show and we got a cheaper price than on the internet or the ticket booth of the show itself. Breakfast is also really good. They have free bikes which makes it easy to explore the city. Oldtown is just a 7 minute bicycle ride away.

The room was not super clean. There is some mould on the walls in the bathroom and it’s super dusty underneath the bed. They definitely did not clean there for a while. That’s also why it was a bit smelly. The rest of the hotel was very clean (pool, fitness room, breakfast)

simply a beautiful boutique hotel for a very reasonable price. Modern, immaculate and with lovely balconies. The hotel is just outside the busy area and the have complimentary bikes to get you down one road and 1km to the action. it is also near the beach area whiz is lovely. The staff are soooo friendly. Thanks to Hough the receptionist for her kind and consistent help. Also Fu was very energetic and helpful. The breakfast was superb and the chef is excellent. I looked forward to my breakfast each morning. Finally, they get CNN and BBC news on the TV. a big plus

We have wonderful experience at Banana Villa ,to the level that we extended one day visit cancelling our Denang Hotel .The room were cozy and clean and breakfast wholesome. The host was kind enough to take care of food even though we reached quite late. The Staff organized bikes and recommended us places to visit .The location was perfect ,with all the spots near by. The hospitability and staff was wonderful .It was perfect worth of money. We take great memories from HO ANN. Highly recommended

The room was very spacious and was more than enough space for 3 people. The staff was extremely helpful, we told them what items we wanted to do and they helped us plan the best time to do everything and booked everything for us. All of the staff was also super friendly and tried their best to help in anyway they could.

The room we stayed in felt like it hasn’t been occupied for a awhile and wasn’t the best maintained. There were stains on the ceiling and the shower most definitely needed some major repair. Location wise it is a bit further from the old town area, maybe a 15 to 20 minute walk.
