The location out of town was perfect as we didn’t want to be in the hustle of Hoi An. The food was very good and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, especially the ladies at reception as they assisted us with all our excursions and recommendations which worked perfectly. The grounds were also well kept and beautiful. Just the overall feel of the hotel design was very nice!

Too little drinking water supplied, but thats just a note on all hotels in Vietnam. There was one thing that we didn’t like at all though. On our last day while waiting in the room for our transfer and relaxing, the GM and a person from the Vietnam Army knocked on our door and demanded to check our passports and visas. The GM apologized profusely but confirmed that they do this every 3 months and check all international guests. The person from the army was rude and militant and wanted to know where we got our Visas etc and almost made it seem that he didn’t believe us. In the end there was no issue but it did make us feel a bit uneasy and unsettled. However this is not the hotel’s fault at all, but I just had to point it out.

We left the resort today (21.09.23). We contacted the resort via Booking.com chat at took advantage of the shuttle service from Danang Airport. At arrivals the driver was there and took us to the resort, about 40 mins drive, for cost of about £11 (from UK). When we arrived, staff came out and collected our luggage and we were taken to some chairs and given tea, while they checkex us in. Although we had read the reviews and looked at all the photos, we were both in total awe of the place........ It is incredible from the entrance onwards. You know that you are somewhere special. The service we received when we arrived, never changed. You are so looked after and the staff are so nice. A shout out to Thoung - Y who were just wonderful. The resort really is a mini paradise. We stayed on one of the three Cabins on a boat No. 2) and what treat that was, so unique and stunning inside. Pool and poolside was ace. Breakfast very nice and had a lovely evening meal there too. Made use of the free shuttle service into Hoi An a couple of times and made use of the free bike hire, which was fun. This place is better that the photos and I would recommend it to everyone. Make sure you book long enough to also spend time relaxing at the resort. If we every return to Vietnam/Hoi An, then we would return here. We stayed 3 nights and would of liked longer if time had allowed. I would recommend 3 nights as a minimum. We paid £136 for 3 nights, which is unbelievable. It is worth so much more, so if you are charged more, then still do it.

We loved our stay. We stayed in Cabin boat no. 2. We loved staying in the cabin and do not regret booking it. The large fan and air con both work and did produce cold air. it was much cooler than the outside (very hot), although the air con did not seem to circulate well around the cabin, which meant it was still a little warm at night and this effected sleep. This did not effect our stay and how much we loved both the boat, resort and staff.

The staff were amazing. Always pleasant and extremely helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had 2 birthdays during our time at Zest and they organised birthday cakes and a special message. The resort is simply gorgeous. It is well maintained and very clean. It is a little remote, but there are mini marts and small cafe/restaurants within walking distance as well as free bike hire. The resort also has a free shuttle bus which can take you to the town or beach 4 times per day. We actually loved the fact that it was so peaceful yet the town was still so accessible. We loved our time at Zest and will definitely return!

We would like cocktails to be included in the happy hour!

This place is simply wonderful! My adult daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. The staff are lovely and really went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. The room was very clean and food was great! They even had a vegan dinner menu which was impressive. The shuttle bus took no time to get into the heart of Hoi An and ran several times a day. While we were there the weather was very hot so the pool was a fabulous addition. We loved it so much and had such a relaxing time. I highly recommend staying here. I will be back again very soon!

Nothing, it was the perfect escape.

I cannot say enough positive things about Zest. We stayed there for 4 nights and now wishing for more. Kids were sad to leave! Hotel manager is always asking about each and every guest, greeting them by name, ensuring everyone is having their best time. We booked 2 rooms, executive king suite and boat cabin. Suite was spacious and clean with 2 toilets. Boat cabin was cozy and cute. Breakfast was plentiful, egg station, noodles, bacon, potatoes and cereal were always there. You then get a variety of traditional Vietnamese food, fruits and vegetables each morning. Loved their watered down coffee for foreigners. Restaurant serves decent food, slightly more expensive than what you'd get down the road but worth the extra money. Massage prices is also slightly higher but setting looks comfortable when compared to local places. Shuttle buses were great too! Schedule provides appropriately 3 hours between each transfer if you wish to go out for a short while. Highly recommend Zest and will definitely be back again. Pictures do not give justice to this place, one must go and experience themselves!

This is only to be super picky...and would not prevent us from staying again. 1. Olympian bar needs weight clips...couldn't use them because weights were not secure 2. Bits of dust around the place in the boat cabin 3. Neighbours roosters next to boat no 3 would give us wake up calls starting at 4:45am, every single day.

This little hotel is a real gem. It has a very beautiful layout and character and a very charming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and nicely designed and decorated, all very clean. The pool is great. Spa is excellent. Breakfast has a good choice. All the staff members are very helpful and kind, they try their best to meet all your wishes. Nothing is too much for them, especially the ladies at the reception are wonderful. We definitely recommend this hotel and hope to be back one day.

There was nothing we would not like. All was really perfect.

This place is an absolute dream, the perfect location to explore the beautiful old town in Hoi An while being able to take a break from the tourist masses (which you'll want and need) and enjoy central Vietnam's countryside, with the peace and quiet of the rice fields. Zest has everything you might need and wish for - amazing breakfast, swimming pool, gym, bar serving food and drinks, spa, a luscious garden, smiling and caring stuff - while also providing free transport to Hoi An's old town and to the nearest public beach. If the transfer's available times do not suit you, you can easily reach the centre within 10 minutes by taxi (Grab) or by bike, or just explore the surroundings where we saw a lot of nice restaurants and cafes. We really just wished we had stayed longer here, the best hotel experience in Vietnam!

Beautiful and relaxing accommodation in a quiet area of Hoi An. The staff are so helpful and kind and the facilities are fantastic. The pool is great, with a bar and pool table right next to it. The bar sells decent food and drinks throughout the day, and the breakfasts in the morning are really great. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and comfortable. We loved having the bikes to ride around the neighbourhood, and the shuttle bus into the beach and old town is very convenient (and is a new, air-conditioned mini bus with seatbelts).

Beautiful location and great surroundings regardless of which room you stay in. Small and unique, boutique feel but not cramped or too busy at all. Theres a free shuttle bus but the city centre and beach, but both are also a 10-minute, few quid taxi ride away. Staff are lovely and helpful. Super relaxing stay!

A tiny issue and wouldnt stop us staying in the same room again, but while white towels etc. were very clean some of the other textiles in the room; sofa fabric, decor pillows etc., could do with a refresh clean.

The most amazing experience and favorite place we’ve stayed at throughout our time in Vietnam. Rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff and the happiest and most friendly/helpful humans. There was never a need that went unmet. They helped us plan a last minute excursion and always made sure we were enjoying ourselves. They truly went above and beyond, even sewed up a pair of my friends pants within thirty minutes and got our laundry back to us same day. The spa here was my personal highlight as the services were so well done. I’m usually quite hesitant with spa services but here I was comfortable and left feeling like a new woman. I think by the end of my stay I’ll hve gotten every service they offered there haha. The mocktails poolside were always delicious as well. I just can’t wait to come back, honestly!
