Comfort Inn & Suites Coralville - Iowa City near Iowa River Landing

We didn't need it or swim but I thought it was nice that the pool had a chair lift that a family could use if needed for the pool. Bed and pillows were comfortable and I have back issues.

The elevator was still not working but we did ask for a 1st floor room and there was on a ailable. Bathroom had a towel bar down on counter and shower curtain was ripped at top but it was still usable.

Perfect location! The shower was great! The bed was decent, not the worst, but not the best we've ever slept in. Good size mini fridge. A/C was nice & cold!

There's nowhere to park to unload your car. Bedside outlets & USB ports were too loose to use. The breakfast was somewhat limited & most everything was cold, but the waffles were fresh & tasty. Pool was closed "for repairs". Could tell it was recently renovated, but shoddy work. Painting not finished, tile job poorly done, bathroom ceiling already stained and peeling.

Breakfast ok. The manager went out of her way to make sure everything was good. Our room curtains didn't provide privacy. She attended to it immediately. Steve, her maintenance man was very professional. He did an excellent job correcting the curtains. Thanks, Steve. Excellent staff.

Staff helpful and bed was very restful. Pool was a nice addition to my stay but the motel was under renovation so it was not always in the best of shape.

Renovation and cost of housing a pet overnight. I think $40 per night is excessive since my dogs are so well behaved and have never caused any damage anywhere.

room not ready at check in had to come back. Then was given a queen room instead of a king that I reserved as king room not clean as of yet. Short of staff

Breakfast was full and had a good variety. The room was large, I like that there was a pull out with the two beds, the room was clean. I had a question in the morning about a destination and the front desk was fast about helping to find the answer.

The pool was somewhat on the cooler end.

Staff was friendly, room was clean, we was grateful to be able to check in early. Breakfast was fresh, hot, and plenty variety. The beds and pillows are very comfortable.

Extremely rude children and parents screaming up and down the hall several times. We could hear them from inside their room when we was walking down the hall.

Very comfortable beds and linens. Great value ... Very accommodating to put us on 1st floor when elevator was broken. Important when you are over 70. Nice breakfast

If I had to say something negative, I would say that you could hear the footsteps of the room above us. But that is the builders fault for not using enough insulation.

It was ok…not very diabetic friendly. The eggs were very dry. The waffles were good. I (not the diabetic) liked that there was peanut butter and strawberry jelly along with the syrup. The sausage was good.

Bed was great!

The elevator was out so we had to take all the luggage up the stairs. Now for me, not such a big deal. There were a couple older couples who had a tough time with their luggage. The hotel should’ve provided staff to bring luggage to room when the customers couldn’t since the elevator wasn’t working
