Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Coralville, IA

Pretty much everything. The people at the front desk, the workers in the hallway, and the people in the breakfast area were very friendly and professional. The breakfast was great. The hours were reasonable as well. The room was equipped with everything we needed, and well cleaned. The towels were replaced on our second day. Best of all, the cost was very reasonable.

Nothing really. Maybe I could really nitpick and mention that the vending machines did not have Diet Pepsi (at the time), or that the bathroom door was a little squeaky, but the problems were pretty insignificant.

3rd or 4th stay here. Like the location, price, cleanliness, room size/beds, breakfast... this time the room we were in had a musty smell. Didn't even report it because it was noticeable when you entered the room, but while you were in there you got used to it I guess... plus we were busy coming and going and just never had time to report it with the front desk. We have never stayed on the first floor before. Could be the location of the room just down from the pool? Maybe this room gets less usage? Maybe on that end of the building its near downspouts or water? There were NO obvious signs of wetness, just the smell when you walk in.

everything was great ..location in midst of fav places..Culver’s and Aldi adjacent ..huge Costco with heated indoor parking very close by!!! Fiesta Mexican restaurant close and great. scrambled eggs sausage waffles yogurts juices etc more than enough choices

NO towel bars in bathroom😁 only one hook in bathroom for towel or clothing .. need another hook or two ..refrigerator had no little freezer.. and didn’t like drinking softened water but brought our own bottled.a little uncomfortable that a photocopy had to be made of drivers license and credit card when checking in due to some equipment not functioning ..we did ask for the photocopy when checking out. pleasant staff !

It was within walking distance from shopping and grocery stores. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was plentiful even with alot of guests. Easy check-in and checkout.

I noticed my room once confirmed went from free cancelation to non cancelation. I also paid for a pet free and smoke free king suite and upon arrival there was a slight unpleasant smell about the room and black dog hair on the couch and air-conditioning unit, which told me the room had not been cleaned very well between occupants, vacuumed, I wouldnt know but my wife had the hair on her white pants after dressing the following morning. I will post pics of the hair.

Good beds, nice rooms, good breakfast, great location to go anywhere (Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Amana Colonies, the malls) in no time, and right across from an Aldi. Nice rocking chairs by the entrance.

Toilet bowl too low for ppl with bad knees. No shadow in the parking lot. Top sheets were polyester. Guest laundry machines had issues, help was patchy. Disposable tableware at breakfast instead of reusable.

Breakfast had a nice offering & staff quickly cleaned after folks left the area. The room was also very clean & the bed linens, upscale. The bath products were also high quality. All staff were friendly and helpful, especially the young gent who assisted in decanting a bottle of wine after check in. (The foil wrapped screw top was very stubborn). The hotel is easy access to I-80 and is close to good restaurants & shopping.

The commode seemed to be very tiny, close to the ground. Perhaps even child size? The heavy chairs in the breakfast room are begging to have chair pads so that they move easier and don't squeak each time they're moved. The eggs/sausages seemed "lukewarm" both days. Maybe sitting over steam would keep them hotter?

The location was perfect. Hotel located right next to the venue we were seeing a concert at. Very pleased with the friendly and accommodating staff as well.

My only concern is that the bathroom in our specific hotel room wasn’t cleaned to the best of its abilities. For example, we found hair strands on our bathroom counters and on some of the towels. One clean towel that was folded up was still damp. The rest of the room was perfectly fine.

Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Food and coffee were above average for this type of lodging. Pet friendly, with a nice patch of grass for walking dogs. Comfy beds, and the fridge and microwave worked well. Felt very clean.

Air conditioner made a wheezing noise every time it cycled off. Wet hall floors from kids running in and out of the pool room. A long rubber mat in the hallway might prevent some accidents.

What an amazing surprise. Based on the reviews, I knew I was picking a nice location but it really exceeded my expectations. The room was so cozy and clean (and everything worked). The staff was so polite and the breakfast was really nice; nothing over the top but for a self serve breakfast bar, it was really great. All this well exceeded the value I expected for what we paid. Highly recommend.

Our room and bathroom was clean. The kids were able to enjoy the pool until 11 pm if they wanted. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, gas stations, a grocery store, and the mall. Breakfast had a good variety to choose from, including waffles for my kids.

Our room keys didn't work at first so we had to get them reprogrammed or reset. But no other complaints!
