I had read some concerning reviews online, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this hotel to be clean and safe with friendly, helpful staff, a comfortable bed, and very quiet! Plus, good water pressure in the shower, which I always value. Housekeeping was great.

The hotel is a little worn, but nothing terrible. Things seemed clean. We didn't have the breakfast, but it looked a little better than I would have expected. Ellensburg lodging always seems a little expensive, but this place was pretty good and I felt okay about the price.

The pool was great. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was nice and friendly. They even asked us what floor we preferred to be on. The room was clean. The ac was already on in our room, which was great with the heat outside. For a quick overnight, it was good for what we paid for it.

I did think there should have been a bigger TV for a room with 2 queens. We did have loading issues showing up while watching a movie. The kids obviously didn't like that. The mini fridge wasn't very cold.

I’ve stayed at this location before and left after one night. I noticed that it’s under new ownership and a new name so I decided to give it another try because the price is good. I was very surprised. The room was very clean and the staff were excellent. I work in the city twice a year and I’ll definitely be staying here in the fall.

The outside of the building can use some updating and paint and unfortunately three out of the four days I was there, someone was smoking marijuana and I can smell it in my room.

The front desk staff are professional,friendly and well trained. Check in was very smooth and I was given the specific room reserved even though I checked in late. The property is older but is well cared for and updated. The room was spotlessly cleaned and the tv and wifi sysytems are excellent. I really appreciate the extended pool hours and the spa area is outstanding with a jetted jjacuzzi and plenty of clean towels. The value here is outstanding and the location is perfect for exploring the mountains and Eastern Washington. If you have an electric car there is a large charging station here as well.

There is nothing to complain about. The property is well managed and cared for. The expectations cannot be higher for this tier of lodging.

The staff were wonderful, very welcoming and cheerful. They gave us a very quiet room as requested. The room was large and very clean. We did not have the breakfast so don't know what it was like.

The pillows on the beds (4 each) were square, large, and impossible to make comfortable. They were on the hard side and there was little difference in them, like 2 soft, 2 hard. The bed was decent.

Quite floor and as someone under 21 I was glad to have a place to book that was also safe feeling. The stage was very kind and I was able to call them when I forgot to put the do not disturb on my door before leaving and they were very kind to note that I didn’t need service.

My room key, I had to try it almost 5 times every time to get in the room or other doors. It doesn’t have an elevator so I had to take my bags up 3 floors. Honestly it sounds a lot worst then it really was though.

The room keys had to be reset several times during our stay, not only for my room, but others as well. The staff said the keys sometimes have to be reset, but after going down to the front desk four times in one day to have the keys reset, it did become an inconvenience.

The clerk at check in insisted on making a photocopy of my credit card for “incidentals” (there was nothing that I could see that would be an incidental charge in my room) and this was after I had already pre-paid my room on Booking.com. I don’t see why that’s necessary or appropriate. The clerk in the morning appeared surprised when I asked for the copy and said “oh we will just throw it away when you’ve checked out.”

This property continues to improve over time since it has been rebranded as a surestay. The property looks and smells clean, and my room was spotless and sanitary. The walls and general condition in the room has been updated and repaired. It was 100 degrees outside, but my room was 65 degrees, which I found very refreshing and thoughtful. The climate control is outstanding. Also, the TV system is excellent with many channels to choose from and an on screen guide.The wifi is strong and I rate it 10+. Most of all, the pool and spa is outstanding, very clean and has nice towels for use. I really appreciated the extended hours of the pool and it opens early at 6am. There is a decent breakfast offering here that I did not use, but overheard others saying great things about biscuits and gravy. I find this property an exceptional value and look forward to staying here again.

Last time I stayed, the check in was terribly slow and annoying. This time check in was outstanding and fast. A remarkable improvement, as there were no dislikes at all during my stay this time around. Thanks!

It is fun to see a property transform itself into something better. This is a classic ugly duckling story. This place is firing on all cyllinders; as the check in is smooth with a well trained front desk person . The room is sanitary with a comfortable bed and a modern TV system with a strong wifi connectivity. There are ample plugs for electronics on either side of the bed, and at a nice desk area. The pool and spa area is very nice , with clean towels to use and extended hours. I stayed here 2 nights, and housekeeping was on the ball with a fresh room and a check in to see if I was ok . When I came back after a long day of hiking, I was greeted with a nice smile and welcome back from a housekeeping employee, who was showing genuine hospitality to a guest. , not something pre-made to say. It is hard to find this type of genuine and friendly attitude in people. This is now my go-to place when I am in Ellensburg!
