Our room was superb. Large, with a Wardrobe and drawer unit, so we were able to fully unpack. There was a pair of towelling dressing gowns in the wardrobe, and a large safe, which was very welcome. There was a large table and chair, another smaller table and chair, and we had a larger screen TV. Our bathroom was lovely. A huge bath with an overhead powerful shower. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. The Hotel itself was very stylish, with stunning Art Deco sweeping staircases. The staff were so welcoming, extremely friendly and very helpful. Our trip away was to celebrate my very special birthday, so we had booked on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis, which was extremely good value. When Robyn in the Bar area found this out, she made sure that I was spoiled. Celebratory drinks, a birthday dessert with candles, and they sang “Happy Birthday” to me. They also arranged for balloon's, Birthday confetti, and a lovely hand written birthday card to be put in our room, on my Birthday! I was made to feel very special, and we will definitely go back.

Bed and bedroom wonderful, high quality. Breakfast was good and the staff were excellent, friendly and attentive, only being let down by the staff in the bar (see my comments below)

The staff serving in the bar were not attentive enough, they were often chatting together and thereby provided a poor service. It was only here that I experienced staff who were wanting. They were pleasant and did a good job when they remembered to do what they were there for, ie to care for the Hotels customers. I suggest additional training and clear instructions be given, especially continually reminding them that looking after the Hotels customers is their top priority. I hope this is helpful.

The hotel is the old Liverpool airport terminal. They have lovingly kept all of the Art Deco features and worked beautifully with the fabric of the building. They have used as much as they could keep to full advantage. I don’t think I have ever stayed in an airport hotel with such charming character. To add to all this, the staff could not be more gracious friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We treated ourselves to a room service breakfast which was delicious.

Nothing it was as close to a perfect stay as I have ever had. Exceptional for an airport hotel especially at this price point

Breakfast was delicious. Fresh sourdough bread was lovely, fried eggs maintained their softness Bed was comfy

Provide better tea bags Considering price of breakfast coffee was not up to standard. Better quality of fresh coffee, it didn’t taste of fresh coffee, though may have been. Bathroom - washbasin wasn’t spotlessly clean which to me is must. I don’t like the residue of the past guests I didn’t know about the £6 fee to park the car - if it was mentioned in the booking it was in small print, which took me by surprise. I’d rather not have to pay it or should already be part of the price

Spotless clean . Variable temperature thermostat on wall so u can alter room temperature to your comfort. Excellent power shower. Great breakfasts, good variety. Took my 2 small dogs who were welcomed, although please note there is an added charge of £15 for pets .

1 particular housekeeping staff member let the team down. Came to our room and instead of knocking, used her key and just walked straight in ! Then saw same staff member in lift whilst we were waiting for it, and she literally closed door on us and went up in it ! Very rude ! Otherwise all other staff were polite & helpful.

Both myself and fiancé were extremely impressed with a warm welcome and easy check in, the receptionist was clear with information regarding the facilities, bar, dining/breakfast areas. The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and presentable, the bed was comfortable ensuring a great night's sleep. Evening dining/Breakfast was fantastic with an array of assorted choices for individual preference. Overall we give 10 out of 10 for a wonderful stay in a great location, would highly recommend and most definitely stay again great value for money 👍

The hotel is party constituted of the old airport terminal building. It is a very attractive art deco style property, accentuating the stylistic charm of the original building. The staff are excellent - friendly and accommodating. My room, a standard double, was spacious and well appointed. There were some nice free snacks which I enjoyed at bed time!

When I got to my room, it was cold. The bottom window had been left open (I assume accidentally by a cleaner). The thermostat read 15 degrees. I turned the AC on but obviously that cut out when I left the room for some food and a drink. So when I returned, the room was still 15 degrees. It took several hours for the temperature to get back up to a comfortable range.

There was a mix up over the rooms in that the room occupancy we were given, did not match up to the occupancy we had booked, but this was very quickly and pefectly resolved by the excellent lady staff member who welcomed us on our evening arrival. The rooms were lovely, extremely comfortable and the architecture, decor and overall feel of the place made it very easy to imagine those early years of air travel becoming popular. Although we couldn't get over to enjoy it, having the David Lloyd Leisure facilities available for guests is another really big plus.

Unfortunately, the breakfast team was short-handed so there were lots of delays waiting for plates, cutlery, bowls milk, buffet items etc. but everyone was trying their very best and sometimes things like this happen. Would have been a 10/10 from us without this.

The breakfast was ok the children enjoyed it but staff encouraging sharing of bottle water during breakfast is against health and safety rule, that need to be looked into instead get 500ml instead of 750ml bottle so people can have one each yo themselves... The cleaner never change or make our bedding for once but it's ok we never complained. We have to call for towel replacement. These areas need improvement... Thanks

Quite a convenient location if you are by car. 16 minutes to the historic center of Liverpool. Polite and very kind staff. The room was a reasonable size, clean, fresh and quiet. A large bed with a comfortable mattress. in general, everything corresponds to the photo.

The room has been renovated. But the furniture is old and needs updating. The bathroom is especially in need of updating. I am sure that no one takes a bath in the room. It would be much more convenient if it was a shower. The carpet was clean. But these are remnants of the past. Carpet always creates a lot of dust. Which is a problem for allergy sufferers. The room would be much fresher without them.
