The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I slept well! Mike the waiter was excellent, as was the food. Lovely breakfast. Mr. Ndlovu on security was also helpful and friendly - organised a taxi for me etc.

My gripes would be that I couldn't get the internet to connect, and there was only cold water in the shower. Neither was particularly a problem as I was only there for a couple of nights, and so I didn't spend any time trying to get these problems fixed. Ah - and the security light outside the bedroom window was very bright, despite the drawn curtains, but again - I had a solution with my eyeshades!

Staff were very helpful to organise transportation and every tour we wanted to do. Room was cleaned immediately after we leave in the morning and our bed had nets for the mosquitos.

Food was good but we had to order early in the morning to eat at night and that was not ideal since we wouldn't know the exact time we got hungry. Also saw bugs and cockroaches in the room where breakfast is prepared - probably not the lodge's fault but the country is like that I guess and it's difficult to control nature. But it's something we noticed

The staff at Dzimbahwe were excellent. From the pick-up at the airport, to the reception, restaurant, cleaning and garden staff were all friendly and ready to assist with whatever I needed. The facilities were nice and clean with a beautiful garden and pool area. The restaurant served an excellent dinner every evening and often delivered dinner to my room if it was raining. Thank you to everyone at Dzimbahwe who treated me like a queen.

The location is not the best, and you will be required to take a taxi or shuttle to almost everywhere you have to go. I would have preferred a bigger variety of options for breakfast, but what was served was well-prepared.

Close enough to the Falls themselves via car. We just needed a room for the night so it served its purpose. Bottled water in the fridge is always appreciated, as was the breakfast included in the price.

Having never travelled to Zimbabwe before, we knew the facilities wouldn't be what we're normally accustomed to. It was fine, but know that some things are perhaps unexpected e.g. there was no hot water in the shower, only in the bathtub. Not a big deal as we were still able to wash etc. and we didn't bring it up with staff, because, again, not a big deal for us.

We arranged to be collected from the airport and the staff were quick to respond to emails and were there waiting for us when we arrived. The rooms were clean although smaller than they appeared in the photos. The air conditioning was effective. The restaurant served good food and the free breakfast were a bonus.

We didn't use the pool as the water was too cold. It did look like it was due for a bit of maintenance. It was a little further from the town centre than we realised but taxis were easy to organise.

The staff was great as other reviews stated. I appreciated the great communication as they were quick to respond via the Booking app. The beds were great and everything was very clean. It's about a 30min walk to the Falls from here.

The taxi/shuttle to and from the airport was a bit pricey as a single person as it was $30 one way, $12/person when sharing with 3 people. The wifi was a bit up and down as sometimes you'd have to reenter the password after it dropped.

Reception and driver, were all knowledgeable, friendly people. Restaurant food was good, breakfast and dinner. All in all a positive experience. All the international travellers from different countries

Layout of the restaurant, too large tables too difficult to sit with a family of 4 together. Bathroom needed a bit of an upgrade, fix the water tap, and a new shower thermostat for constant temperature

Only have praise for this efficient and friendly hotel. Grace and her reception colleagues could not have been more welcoming and helpful during our 6 night stay; happy to book the standard $5 taxis into town (8 minutes) and arrange other bookings. The rooms were large and well furnished with comfortable beds. The two swimming pools were clean and professionally managed and the gardens immaculate. Situated in a quiet affluent residential area. The breakfast was full buffet in their restaurant managed by a amiable chef. Note: the hotel has two compounds opposite each other across a quiet dirt road with a pool in each. The restaurant is one side and this can be noisy early plus most vehicles park there and the reception the other side. Plenty of car parking with a high gates and a security guard. Not walkable to town particularly at night as unlit streets and yes wild animals do roam the streets; we saw them. Local residents are very friendly and it is nice to walk the nearby streets and say hello.

Cannot fault the hotel and staff in any way.

The hotel grounds were inviting and peaceful. The staff was friendly. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Not super close to the Falls (or anything) but the hotel provided transportation to and from the Falls (for a fee) which was nice and convenient. It didn't look like there were any hotels that close to the Falls, so this didn't seem to be out of the ordinary.

The hotel restaurant was the only place to eat. The food was good but not much of a variety. Downside to the restaurant is they don't accept credit card - it's cash only.

The staff were fantastic especially Thembi at breakfast and Pardros the driver who was very informative The room was basic but comfortable

The bathroom could do with some maintenance as it took a while for the shower to warm up Having repeatedly to log into the internet was frustrating and the way it was arranged
