WRAP on Southbank

Very spacious room, low price, great location and very clean. We had a full kitchen, separate living and a bedroom with terrace.

Only thing that cld be improved was the ph in our room didn't work

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was always hot with great water pressure. The staff were exceptional with friendly customer service. We were given an upgrade to a deluxe one bedroom apartment which was a nice surprise. The location was convenient to Southbank, the Yarra and an easy walk into the main shopping precinct.

The kitchen was lacking utensils, there were no sharp knives, plus other items like a sieve, tongs, potato peeler. It’s a bit difficult to use an oven when no oven trays are provided. Whilst the bed was king size the quilt was only a thin double size. Luckily there was an extra blanket in the wardrobe we could use. There were no drawers or shelves to store clothes in so they had to remain in our suitcase which was a tad annoying.

Great location, friendly staff, and received a pleasant surprise of an upgrade to a 2-bedroom apartment.

Breakfast hamper advertised in the room was not available in-house…was quoted delivery the following day, which was too late. Croissant for breakfast in the restaurant was disappointingly soggy and chewy - it had obviously been heated in a microwave rather than a ‘Merry-chef’ or oven. Not what you’d expect for this kind of property, and the price charged.

Though busy, all staff offered personalised service and did their best to accommodate requests about the room. Very supportive and helpful to my husband who arrived mid-stay . It was a warm welcome, but also a warm farewell. Beds were very comfy and the additional blankets were great on family movie night. The kitchen had the basics supplied. Spectacular views. A great atmosphere - met lots of guests.

Was difficult to supervise children in the pool as there was so little space between the pool edge and water. Was a very loud space. There was a Foxtel remote and Foxtel box in side a damaged entertainment unit, but kept getting the error message that there was no subscription Slow internet - movies kept stopping and restarting. Exposed Wi-Fi units and wires in the kids' wardrobe.

We loved the upgrade and the view of the Botanical Gardens and the ocean. The location was great and an easy walk to Southbank, restaurants and Woolies. Well stocked kitchen with all you needed to cook. Would definitely book and stay here again if returning to Melbourne.

The dishwasher didn't work and the door on the washing machine needed to be held shut for the door to lock and the machine to work. One of the elevators was noisy and could be heard from our room. No shelves/drawers to store clothes unless you are tall and can reach the high shelf on the wardrobe. Unfortunately, there is no where to sit in the lobby to work. The restaurant closes after breakfast, so you can't even order a coffee and sit in there.

The location and view from the balcony were excellent for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens. Yarra, city and bay views, even the casino fire display every night on the hour. We were in a two bedroom, two bathroom, small unit on the Penthouse level. Room 4101. Beds were comfortable, double glazed windows, quiet inside. Excellent value for money. 10 min walk from Southbank Promenade. Staff were extremely helpful. Kitchen equipped for cooking and fridge/freezer. Several milk pods supplied in fridge. Indoor pool and gym was good but unfortunately the treadmill was out of order. Free wifi, worked well on several devices. Restaurant food, bar and staff downstairs were great. Great coffee.

The living area was poky. (We are small people so it was adequate). Was hoping for a coffee pod machine in kitchen but only tea and coffee sachets. Main bathroom had a sewerage smell occasionally, no exhaust fan in main bathroom. There were a few maintenance issues, eg.tv bracket loose, locks not working, dishwasher door doesn't close, remote buttons don't all work and IT issues re chromecasting and smart tv mirroring. Couldn't use the treadmill, wasn't working.

The location was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, the view was great (we had a slight view of port Phillip bay). Car park was accessible and I have a large car. The check in and out process was easy and didn’t take too long. The room, although small, had all the amenities. The reception and foyer were was very nice and modern, with a nice decor.

Pool area was too small and dark. It didn’t have a lounge area or any pool towels. There was a large stain on the carpet in the room, which was unsightly and should have been removed. The corridors were also very dark and a bit gloomy. Lighting definitely should have been improved in common areas.

Great location & good comfortable room. Bed was very firm.

When given the swipe card for the car park the receptionist did not advise there was a seperate swipe for parking so after going up & down a number of times wondering why it wasn’t working I finally got out of the lift & was advised. Should have been told in the beginning.

Overall wonderful experience with the team @ Wrap. Being an returning customer the team didn’t disappoint again. The reception staff were very welcoming & friendly and helped out fantastically. 24 hour reception is an awesome feature to have also. Walking into the rooms, cleanliness & set out was truely fantastic. No faults with the room, great size and an great apartment. No faults on the stay, amazing team at wrap thank you again.

Honestly no faults what so ever with me, one issue which I could minorly raise would be the lift wait on certain levels but very minor and not an issue with me.

Staff were friendly and professional. The location was great with easy access to Southbank, public transport, convenience store, restaurants etc. the room was a great size and had a wonderful view of the city

The king sized bed was in bedroom 2 and was as has a rock. Not much restful sleep happening on that bed. The bath was missing a plug and the tap in the kitchen sink was missing a handle. Basic things that could have easily been fixed, but have been ignored.
