Fremantle Bed & Breakfast

Location was perfect for me and my friend. We just spent one night here as we had a gig to attend. It was super clean. Breakfast in the morning was perfect. Had a really nice feel to the place. Definitely be back.

Parking was a bit of a bother but you get that in freo. Maybe catch the train as it's close to station or there was a easy carpark at the end of the street. Just be careful of street parking before 5pm . Other than that it was fine this can't be helped.

Very clean throughout, the bnb had a nice smell too. Friendly and professional property manager on site who was available when we needed but still maintained a high level of privacy for our stay. It’s a gorgeous sandstone building, fantastic location within two minutes walk to the harbour. 10/10 would recommend tarantella suite, the stained glass windows are so pretty and the room was quaint and comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t available on one day of our stay however breakfast vouchers were provided for a local cafe - food was delicious, thank you so much we had an excellent time.

Nothing! We read about the stair only access to the top (3rd) floor but we didn’t find them too strenuous with our luggage in backpacks. Unable to open any windows in tarantella suite however aircon was provided in the room so we didn’t mind!

Unfortunately breakfast was not available during our stay however we were provided with a voucher for Break cafe nearby where the breakfast was excellent. Great initiative to help support local businesses as well. Check in was really easy and the host was easy to contact, prompt and very clear with all the information required.

Everything was really good - we had a slight accident with a screw that was sharp in a chair however when I contacted the host, they were very apologetic, checked everything was ok and got on to fixing it. Appreciated the prompt responses.

Breakfast was very good for a continental breakfast. Location was good, easy walk to Fremantle town centre and easy get to Rottnest Ferry. Room was nice, clean, and spacious. Common area was well presented. Suzanne was very welcoming and helpful. Parking was not too bad with the benefit of being able to park on the street for free overnight.

I could not get the shower to work, the style of the bath tap made it difficult to wash my hair under the tap. The toilet made a funny noise when flushing, but no major issue.

Loved the history of the place, and enjoyed hearing about all the renovations that have taken place over the years. Also, being centrally located in Fremantle made everything within walking distance.

We booked the Tarentella Suite which was absolutely lovely, except for it being on the top floor. I'm too old and fat for all those stairs hahaha. But overall, we had a great stay so its not really :(

Location was fine for tourists on foot. Able to leave bags to afternoon for final departure.

Bathroom sharing was new to us and hoping it was available when scheduling for breakfast was an issue. I noticed people had showered late at night and left the floor soaking wet. They need instructions for some visitors. Breakfast was fine but very light. I'd like more toast and coffee and milk but better not to ask to be polite.

It was so close to everything- within walking distance of everything you wanted. You could walk easily to all the restaurants and cafes. You can walk to the docks to catch the ferry to Rottnest Island for the day. It was perfectly situated. The breakfast in the morning was superb a great start to the day. The rooms were very comfortable couldn't have asked for more!!!

Loved everything

Susanne was such a lovely host. The suite was superb with gorgeous character while not neglecting comfort. It was beyond our expectations. The breakfast was served on a trolley and had such care and etiquette - we felt like royalty. Great presentation and taste! The location was very central and in a heritage part of town which I loved.

It was perfect

Very central positioned and still quite quiet. Lovely houselady, beautiful rooms and history dripping from the walls. With a good breakfast, simple as I like it in addition. Top score.

Not a problem for me at all, but some may not like to share bathroom, even if the bathroom was in perfekt condition. Lack of view, but with an interiør like this, I never missed it

Absolutely charming bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Tarantella Suite on the top floor - be aware that you do need to be pretty fit to climb up with your suitcases! The suite was absolutely lovely - so much character and beautifully decorated. Susanna was a really lovely host - the breakfasts each morning were exceptional. We loved hearing about the history of the building - quite fascinating. The B&B also enjoys an excellent location in the heart of Fremantle.
