Quest Fremantle

Location. Cleanliness. Good shower and toiletries. Interesting view from the small balcony. Apart from the couple next door having a blazing row one night it was very peaceful at night.

The room size I suspect is exaggerated. We knew we were booking a studio but there is absolutely no way the room and balcony was 30 square metres. If we had known the real size at the time of booking we would probably have booked the more expensive apartment with a separate bedroom or booked somewhere else. I would be interested to know how you can claim the room and balcony is the size stated

The Quest is located close to the station, the port, the many local restaurants and bars of Freo. As well as ideally situated for local beaches ( a 5 min walk to Bathers beach, a 35 min walk to South beach. Or a short 10 min train and a 5 min bus ride to Cottesloe beach). All staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 5th floor studio room with a small balcony. Which had pleasant views over the rooftops of local buildings.

The studio room was small, with only 1 chair and a foot stool to sit on. The 2 electric rings didn’t appear to work (no instructions) . The balcony is very small (but accessible). Likewise, the fitness room is functional but small. With no provision to sanitise (asked reception on first time of using facility, for spray/wipes) but not provided) the limited range of CV equipment and the multi gym. etc.

Lobby is calming and clean. The reception team were friendly and lovely with smiles. My room was immaculate. WiFi was strong. Bathroom super clean, strong hot showers. The kitchenette is stocked with dish washin liquid packets. Cutleriesz microwave. Bowls n plate, induction stove, a cooking pan.. Everything u need to cook simple food and warm up dinners. Bed was comfortable, they have extra pillows in the closet. Ironing boards, iron, safe, reading lights.. Etc. The location is on the edge but super close walk to everywhere, 5-6mins to everywhere. Modern and clean, also water dispenser on the lobby. Housekeeping was prompt, always come back to a clean room. Housekeeping team were cheerful, they say hi and even helped another family with their luggage.

My bed would roll off the wall a little if I move too much. Guess the bed wheels wasn't secured.

The Quest is close to all that Fremantle has to offer but just out far enough from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. The rooms were clean and spacious, and they even had bikes to hire to ride around Freo on. Perfect for a quick trip to the Beautiful Rottnest also. As Jetty was only 5 min walk away. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Bag drop off was difficult with no concierge to help and traffic was tight squeeze.Parking short distance away, which was hard to navigate the 24hr parking as it seemed to only allow when purchasing on the app.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had trouble with a window, and we received help. The room was clean. My wife is very sensitive to dust, and she had no problem. Also, the apartment was close to town and all facilities. We appreciated the kitchenette as it enabled us to save money and my waistline by buying our own healthy food. Healthy food is very hard to procure in a restaurant.

The pillows were hard. I asked for a softer pillow and was told by the reception staff that is a constant request however unfortunately they don't have soft pillows. The staff didn't know were the IGA or supermarkets were. I had to find out myself

The staff were awesome - from check-in and front desk to those working behind the scenes on cleaning and maintenance - really helpful, always pleasant, and always smiling. The location was ideal - with beaches, restaurants, cafes, interesting shops and transport all within easy reach. Rooms were comfortable and we had a great view as well.

Would have been good to have clearer instructions regarding how to access TV streaming services. Also, remember to adjust the fridge temperature (turn up to at least 5) when you arrive as the venue keeps them turned down low when rooms are unoccupied as a very sensible and eco-conscious energy saving measure.

Friendly staff good size room with everything you need for a few days away including a well equipped kitchenette to cook your own meals if you want Comfortable large bed and a decent size shower ( I'm 6 foot 5 )

Typical of Fremantle parking can be an issue B shed long stay was already full at 1030 but went to collie st multi storey in the shade and $66 for 2 days and nights not bad and only 500m walk . Not the hotels fault just Fremantle but something to be aware of

Reception were really friendly on arrival, and the entrance was very handy - just a short walk from the train station or long term car park. Quest sent through all the details for parking before we arrived so it was easy. There was also a pre-check in option which made it really easy to pick up the key when we arrived. We were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment for the night, and it was wonderful. Both my partner and I travel a lot for work and leisure and this room was one of the best we have stayed in for a long time. Huge bathroom complete with washing machine, separate bedroom and living, kitchen area with a full sized fridge! Easy to control heating/cooling, block out blinds and lots of information about the area. We wished we had stayed longer :)

The location was excellent for our purposes and being on the 'edge' of the CBD and with its style it was quiet. The small kitchenette was perfect and the room a reasonable size for the price.

We stayed bookend over a week. The first stay was in a first floor room onto the street with a window that could be opened and the wifi worked quite well. The second time we were on the ground floor overlooking an interior courtyard which meant no street noise whatsoever but we couldn't open the window and the wifi and tv was poor.

The room was spacious and well-equipped. The bed was comfortable. We made use of the laundry and gym facilities in the building, so that was great too. The air-con in the room worked well too. The location was the best part, very close to the ferry for Rottnest island, the Ferris wheel, little creatures brewery, and lots of restaurants.

There was no working extractor fan in the bathroom and no window either so no ventilation. The WiFi didn’t work - it connected but didn’t work every time we tried throughout our 3 night stay. When we wanted to checkout, there was no one at reception. After a while of waiting, (with no bell/buzzer at the desk, no sign saying they had stepped out, and no contact number to reach them) we eventually walked around to go looking for her, and found her chatting to another staff member. Probably a good idea to put a buzzer if they’re not going to stand at the reception desk, or rather have a chat at the desk so you can see if guests are arriving/leaving.
