Hilton Garden Inn Brussels City Centre

The hotel is comfortable, very clean, quiet (we slept at the back of the hotel viewing the garden) and well located. The neighborhood offers a lot of coffee bars and restaurants, all nearby.

The policy of the hotel is that you pay a guarantee of 25 euros per night in advance. When you finished your stay you can get this amount back, on the other hand the staff can decide to keep the whole sum of money because you may have made a tiny scratch on the furniture for example, even if you didn't do it. Let is be clear: this is not a policy of Hilton but a policy of this hotel. The conclusion is: the management of this hotel does not trust her own guests which is extremely unpleasant and far from welcoming. This bizar policy is mentioned on the Booking.com website but is not included in the booking confirmation email. Both the hotel and booking.com should state this more clearly. For us it is a reason not to book this hotel again unless they change the policy.

Room facing the courtyard was very quiet and we slept great. Location was good, walking distance to Brussels Midi and to the center. It's also close to some good restaurants.

We paid on arrival but they also charged the credit card provided to secure the booking. To their credit, they fix it quickly once we tell them, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

A 20 min walk from the centre, close to the train station to travel around. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was good, but the cleaning was so so. The room was clean but they don't clear up bits off the floor (an ear bud fell on the floor, hair in the shower wasn't cleared up) which in Spain they do. Probanly dutch protocol. To sum up we were satisfied with out visit, we loved Brussels and would visit again the same hotel.

They don't clean the room or change sheets or pillows like in Spain. Clear up a q tip which had fallen on the floor, hair in the shower drain.

Spacious, comfortable room & friendly staff. Rooms are quiet. I stayed 3 nights on a mid week deal for not much more than cheaper hotels around Brussels Midi station. It’s close to Hotel des Monnaies metro & its quick to get into the city centre from here. It’s only two stops from Brussels Midi, I found it great as i did a day trip to Ghent, I arrived from Brussels Airport & caught the intercity train to Paris. There is a Louis Delhaize mini supermarket by the metro. This is great for basic food supplies that you might want to use for the mini bar fridge.

No complaints about the property. You might find the location not ideal if you want to be right in the city centre. The bed is firm but I slept ok but if you prefer softer mattresses this might be a issue.

The hotel has a really good location. Walking distance from the city centre, close to the metro and train station. The room was clean, equiped with a kettle, TV, iron, safe. There is a patio where you can sit and have some drink / food from the hotel bar. The gym is open 24/7. There are some free weights and cardio mashines, but only one mat (not in a very good quality).

The breakfast was good, but I would personally prefer more variability. It's quite basic and the same every day. If you stay more than a few days, it gets a bit a boring. The beds, especially the pillows, were not really comfortable. Too flat and slippery.

We had a small problem with the cleaning of our room (we left the hotel at 9am and came back at 4pm and the room wasn't cleaned nor the waste bins was removed). We brought the situation to the reception team and they resolved it quickly. On the next day the cleaners came to the room and apologised for the mistake. So even that it was something that bothered us, the staff worked out to give us the best experience.

Very quiet inside the hotel, very clean, good shower. Comfy bed. A proper adjustable Reading light meant I could read without keeping my partner awake. The toiletries, although fixed to the wall, were decent quality. The garden area was pleasant. I like the area around the hotel, it’s walkable from Midi station (@ 15mins) but far enough from the roughest area near the station. There are many nice bars, cafes & restaurants nearby, populated mainly by locals. I travel to Brussels regularly & it looks like I’ve found a new « go to » hotel.

The only minor criticism is that sometimes it could take a while to get served at the bar area, but I appreciate staff can’t do everything at once.

1-who cleans the room are not professional! in my last night the room wasn’t clean especially carpet and the table ! I found the bed pillows and sheet exactly as I leave it when I woke up in the morning! I informed the receptionist, he apologized and told me he will inform the responsible in the morning. 2- very little choices in restaurant menu ! and it’s expensive. no free bottle of water as a welcome ! most hotels now offering free bottles of water every night ! especially Hilton Harden inn is expensive rate for 1 night !!!

A spacious comfortable room, good sleep quality and decent internet connection. The breakfast was pretty good too. The hotel location is also attractive, close to the metro station. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Efforts needed to get the proper invoice were plainly ridiculous. When checking in, I requested an invoice to be issued in the morning and left my business card. Next morning, the invoice wasn't ready - being in a hurry, I left another business card and requested an invoice via email. And indeed - it arrived, with a major error. After I requested a corrected invoice, I got another one - literally - issued for a completely different entity from another country. So I demanded a proper invoice again, writing down proper details for the THIRD TIME. In the meantime I got successive versions of an invoice from 3 people, every one with distinct errors.
