Hygge Hotel

Good location in quiet street and well placed near metro stations. It has a nice patio. Breakfast is good and personnel are friendly.

The big " double bed" is not double. It is actually two very narrow beds put next to each other which makes it very uncomfortable. It is like sleeping in a bed for children. Mattresses are quite bad too, very soft and mushy. Two important things: there is no full body mirror in the room (difficult when one has to wear a tie) and there is no hand bar in the bath tub, so if sleepery it can be very dangerous with a cristal door. I stayed for 4 nights and only got 2 small bottles of water. Not enough hangers.

Breakfast was good. The beds were very good! Friendly staf.

It would have been nice to have a place to sit in the room, as we had a room for 4 persons which was very spacious there would have been enough room to put some chairs or a small sofa in there.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and we particularly enjoyed chatting with Cédric. The room was a great size and really clean. We also loved the decor of the hotel (scandi style). The location was great for walking in and out of the city centre and had plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.

The only (very) minor things that could be improved upon are: 1. The towel sizes (they're quite small and thin!) 2. The shower flooded quite badly the first time we used it until we got the angle of the shower head right 3. The safe was broken. 4. It would also have been handy to have a full-length mirror in the main bedroom as there were 3 of us trying to get ready, with the only mirror in the bathroom.

Great styling. Very cool hotel with helpful staff. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Large space for a family of 3 which can be hard to find.

Worth noting that the elevator stopped a floor short of our room on level 5 leaving us to carry bags up a narrow flight of stairs - not uncommon for hotels in old buildings but it is very narrow with little in the way of handrails. Main concern in our loft room was the low sloped ceiling near the bed that all 3 of us hit our heads on. It is a definitely a hazard and a regig of the room would make it much safer. There's even a crack in the plaster that we may or may not have made but suggests we might not have been the only ones to crack our heads.

Friendly staff. Convenient for great shopping street. 5-minute walk from Tram/Metro stop at Louise - uphill to hotel if you have heavy bags though. Foyer looked great and breakfast was fab.

A little disappointed with our attic room. The Velux skylights didn't shut properly, so more noise got through than we would have like (and we requested a quiet room). Thankfully it was dry, but I think at least one may leak and needs attention. The bathroom had a bath with a shower attachment but no shower screen or curtain.

Location was convenient, close to shops, busy streets and a metro station, but the street itself was very quiet. Easy to reach by public transport, although be prepared to walk couple of hundred meters from nearest stops. The hotel is very clean and the bed was the best I've ever slept in in a hotel. Breakfast is decent compared to its price, if you're not a fan of searching a nice breakfast place around town before your morning coffee.

Even though rooms are decorated with good taste and both the room and bathroom were spacious, I think they could be a bit more comfortable to reach the price level. Floors were icy cold, bathroom was chilly as was the room - there was no air condition / heating system to set te room temperature yourself. Would have appreciated an armcahir (there's plenty of space!), slippers (the floor was really cold) and a bathrobe. Also better toiletries and amenities would have been appreciated - the rooms do cost over 100 € / night. Entrance floor room was a bit noisy as all of the noise from the lobby reaches the room - and the big, opening windows facing the street on the street level made me a bit uncomfortable. Luckily the street was very quiet and the curtains were good.

This was our first stay at the Hygge Hotel and we liked the place right away. As the name suggests, the hotel is designed with scandi aesthetics in mind and equipped with Nordic furniture brands such as Hay, Gubi, Muuto, Menu or String shelving system. The hotel lobby with reception and dining hall are beautifully designed with great features and spots to explore. Our room was spacious and cosy with enough natural light and a super comfortable bed. We were only surprised that the room didn't have a fridge and we couldn't find a pair of wine glasses nor a bottle opener. Overal, we did enjoy our stay and would love to come back.

The decor was beautiful and the staff were super friendly and helpful. the night concierge Bob was the best.!!! comfy beds nice location with easy access to the metro and eateries. Definitely stay again. We were a group of 3 and the room had plenty of space for us.

The bathroom was a little musty I assume due to not having ventilation. There was a random radiator in the shower cubicle and the water leaked out into the rest of the bathroom. The floor towel was sopping wet each time. Maybe a kettle in the room would be nice but you can get hot drinks in reception.

The hotel was very well maintained, cleanly, and was perfect for a few days staying in Brussels. The room was very comfortable and stylish, with a sleek design that was still very homey and easy to relax in. The location of the hotel was ideal for our stay, once off the main street that is very nearby which is a bit chaotic and touristic. The staff made the process of checking in and navigating our travel throughout the trip very easy. While we did not have breakfast at the hotel during our stay, the breakfast room and lobby were great resources throughout the trip.

For the price, the room was a bit small, though it was still very well outfitted with everything that we would need during our stay. While the location of the hotel is very nice, and the specific block it is on is very quiet and peaceful, it is very near to a major street which is very busy and touristic. Once off this main block though, the hotel is ideal.

Room was small but beds were clean and comfortable, great variety for breakfast and staff were exceptional. Good location within easy walking distance of transport, restaurants and shops

Bigger room with air conditioning would have been nice but weather during our stay was exceptionally hot. There was quite a bit of street noise and we had to keep windows open to try to cool down the room
