Argus Hotel Brussels

Nice hotel, very close to the metro station. The city center is reachable in about 10 minutes. The room and bathroom were of good size and very clean. The breakfast was OK, with cold and hot dishes and sweet pastry.

We wanted to pay by card, but we didn't succeed, as the Pos was not working correctly. We were afraid that the card was corrupted, but later it turned out that the card was fine. Our strong impression was that the hotel didn't encourage the guests to pay by card, which is not OK. So, bring cash or insist and try over and over to pay by card, maybe finally you'll be successful.

The hotel is located very close to the central part of the city and offers great value for the money. The staff was friendly, the breakfast and the coffee were perfect(considering the price of the room). The room was small but spacious enough and it was cleaned daily and the towels were changed daily. Also the room was equipped with stand-alone air conditioner(not a central one) which was powerful and the room was warm at all times. There was a small desk in the room which is fine for working on a laptop.

My room was right next to the elevator and the door of the elevator was quite noisy and I was woken up multiple times during the night and early morning.

Incredibly loud sounds (like maintenance works but inside the hotel) during 10pm - 11:30 pm. I was too tired to stand up and make a comment to the staff while not being able to fall asleep. My room was near the reception so I am amazed why the staff didn't fo anything to fix loud madness at the night.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, a bathroom with spacious shower cabin. Good breakfast (included in booking). Get up earlier and enjoy the almost empty breakfast space, with all the meal already waiting for you. Later may be too many people. A lady, who takes care of breakfast, was especially polite and helpful!

As reviews say, in your room you hear everything, that goes on in the corridor, and as loud as if people were in the same room. But if you read reviews, you are prepared for it.

I had booked the smallest type of rooms in the hotel, but it was very nice, cosy and quiet, facing the garden side of the hotel. Everything worked well, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom functioning and clean. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. For me the location of the hotel was also perfect.

The elevator was extremely small and slow, but for me that wasn't such a big deal since I like to use the stairs anyways.

The room was small but enough for a short stay. It was clean and the hotel is in a good area. 2 metro stations are within a short walking distance and a lot of shopping can be done in that area as well. Sipermarkets and restaurants are also not that far away.

The charging situation. The one socket besides the bed didn't work so I had to unplug the fridge to have at least one spot to charge my phone. The breakfast was okay. The selection could be more diverse.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the centre. It is tucked away just behind the main road so is super quiet but very close to shops, restaurants and the metro. The room was good size for 2 and shower had good water pressure

There wasn't a suitable place to plug in the kettle in which was only a minor inconvenience.

The breakfast was the main highlight of my stay. There were fresh croissants, eggs, juice, coffee, olives, and other food available, so I really enjoy it and it was quite nice. Also, before leaving the hotel, the staff asked me if I wanted them to book a taxi for me, so it made my journey from Brussels to the airport much more comfortable and fast. I really enjoy the hot and powerful shower too.

The rooms have no style, so sometimes it feels like you're inside an empty, gray, patterned box. Some staff can be pretty indifferent to you as well, so it feels like you're just one more guest. I also did not like the fact the other guests could easily see you through the windows if you were to let them open.

it was really a good location, within few minutes walk to the public transport stop and 20 mins to the center. the staff was super friendly the breakfast was normal and nothing fancy

there was only one pillow per person and it was not comfortable for me, our room was exactly in front of elevator and during night u could hear all the guests communication to their rooms

Really amazing room. I might be biased because I had been in shared hostel dorms up until this point in my trip but I was overjoyed with my little room. Big beautiful bathroom with a great shower. Cute window that had a lovely view of ivy trailed buildings. Very comfy bed with the fluffiest duvet. The breakfast was really good! I have dietary restrictions and still was able to eat a full breakfast because they had so many options. Loved it all.
