Best Western Plus St. John's Airport Hotel and Suites

Beautiful room and great location

The rate was outrageous for the amount of time we spent. Our flight was delayed and we never got to the hotel until 4 AM and by the time we got settled in it was after 5 . I think a couple of people who go to your hotel and arrive at this time should be given and hour or two for a late checkout. We got up at 8 had a shower went for breakfast and then it was checkout, I understand that the time is always 11 so the cleaning staff can clean the rooms. The staff could have cleaned our room last to help us when we were operating on just 3 hours sleep.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when needed. The cleaning staff were discreet and very helpful when required.

Kitchenette was somewhat adequate but only a microwave, which we knew before we booked. It would have been a bit nicer to have a stove, but I am sure safety is an issue. Otherwise we loved it, stayed a week and hopefully we will be able to return someday.

Staff, and the food was amazing. Drinks were a little pricey but fair overall. Room was immaculate! Pool was good although we had an unfriendly kid who was harassing my 10 year old son due to the policy of 12 and over not requiring supervision - a rule that should be closely looked at though, as a couple parents there noted the behavior of the particular person as well. However, They were dealt with by the pool attendant - thanks for that!

The bathroom shower. A couple of them have a little sitting area in the shower itself along with the adjustable nozzle. The rainwater head is great but it needs to be adjustable for taller people. I think however it was a wheelchair accessible room we had due to overbooking - but we made the best of it.

The pool was really amazing, the room was spotless as usual and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They will go out of their way to talk to you as you go through the halls to make sure you have everything you need.

We really missed the complimentary breakfast. My kids enjoyed the choices on that buffet much more than the choices at the hotel restaurant, Amelia's. The service there was top notch, but the food was just ok for the price. We told the front desk and they said they discontinued the complimentary breakfast as a lot of folks didn't like it. I don't get that at all! It was always great!

Very clean and nice rooms. Friendly staff.

We had awful service at the hotel’s restaurant. It took 30 minutes for my drink to arrive due to “missing glassware”, my main dish was never served, the waitress forgot to ask my partner what he wanted to order (just left once I gave my order without asking him what he wanted) so we had to flag her down to come back to finish placing our order. Overall awful experience at the restaurant.

Everything we expected in a room. Nice big shower, although no option for handheld. Comfortable bed. Lots of room for opening luggage. Two comfortable chairs. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was really good.

A lot of places do this - make the bed so the sheets don’t come up to your chin but land mid-arm. You either have to remake the bed or scrunch down a foot to get full coverage.

Excellent facility. My room was very clean and well supplied. All of your staff was very polite and helpful.

Well, if I had to nit-pick, your vending machine on the first floor-the one that dispenses soda bottles-was not operational. It would not accept any bills for payment. That's the only problem that I encountered. This is a very well run business.

The manager on duty for the night of September 2 2022 was the one that served me at the front desk, I am so sorry I didn’t get his name, but he is awesome, great personality, extremely friendly and so very helpful! Even when we were in the lounge having a drink and two servings of the delicious bacon wrapped scallops, we could here the staff speaking very highly of him! Thanks again.

Nothing could of been better, wish I could of stayed more then one night!

The location near the airport, the university, and the town was useful for us. We used the hotel shuttle to get to the hotel late at night on arrival and walked 10 minutes to pick up our rental car in the morning to tour around. Easy ride to go downtown. The location made our visit efficient and cost-effective. The restaurant at the hotel is great and very convenient as well. We highly recommend it.

Our room was nice and comfortable. The bed and pillows were clean and comfy. The bathroom is a great size and it was clean. There were also lots of towels.

The second elevator wasn't working so we ended up waiting a long time for the elevator when we arrived. It wasn't too bad when we left because it was early in the morning. When we didn't have things to carry we used the stairs because the wait for the elevators was too long.
