Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland

The first thing that struck me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at Sheraton Hotel are undoubtedly one of its greatest assets. Their genuine smiles, impeccable manners, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay truly set this hotel apart. Whether it was assisting with my check-in, providing local recommendations, or promptly attending to any requests, their exceptional service left a lasting impression.

I understand that hotel amenities are carefully considered and that every addition must be balanced with the overall guest experience. However, as a loyal guest who greatly values my time at the Sheraton, I wanted to express how the inclusion of a microwave would truly make an already outstanding stay even more exceptional.

We loved the suite we had booked as a mini anniversary celebration. The hotel, overall, and location were perfect for a lovely stay in the city following a conference in town. Our room service dinner on arrival was excellent as well. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Not specific to this property at all--we've encountered this across the country--but vending machines seem to be completely absent low sugar choices; in fact, pop/mix in general seems to be in short supply, which necessitated a call down to the lounge for a refreshment. Seems like this would be an easy fix, and increase the convenience for guests staying with you and other hotel properties in general.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with a good location downtown. The staff was cordial and helpful and the breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of food.

There is no guest computer or business center, which is so important for travelers. The final bill charged me for breakfast, though I understood when I booked that it would be included in the nightly price. There is no airport shuttle.

The hotel is well located, common areas and our room were very clean, and staff upon check in and check out were friendly and efficient. My daughter loved the pool.

Breakfast of some sort included in the stay would have been nice (let’s face it…hotel stays aren’t cheap anymore, even if you choose the most economical. A bit of breakfast included for every guest would be nice)

It was well located for my trip. My room was spacious and had a microwave and fridge. The hotel in general is nice and had comfortable seating areas in the lobby. I attended a wedding in the hotel and it was a nice unique space for the event.

I'd say the buffet breakfast needs improvement and I didn't find it to be value for money, but it might be that I'm used to a wider variety for the price in UK hotels.

Pool, hot tub, botanical garden, friendly staff

The door seal on the room door was subpar. Sound leakage from hallway was bad. The shower had a few spots of what looked like black mold around the caulking. A microwave in the room would've been nice, Im sure I could have requested one.

The bartender was exceptional...Morris? I think? Beautiful place... far and above any other hotel in st john's Newfoundland Worth every penny Even the soaps and so on were exquisite 👌

No tv streaming services...Netflix etc. No other hotels have it either... my only complaint

Lobby is beautiful, and expansive with awesome little atrium of “green space”. Pet Friendly with $50 fee. Room was clean. Great view of harbour!

Restaurant food was good, but the poor man was short staffed (alone) and ran ragged. Restaurant/ bar also closed at 9pm which is very early for a Fri or Sat night. Lots within walking distance but with a pet in tow, we weren’t aiming to venture too far.

The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was the best I've seen at a hotel in a long time, and the seafood chowder was amazing. We appreciate having clean towels each day.

Enjoyed it all. Wished we knew we had book the pool times that's why we came to town was for me to take the kids in n get away from rough year they been thru. We did use the gym.but some of the equipment didn't work properly. Great time kids had but next time we will be calling ahead. Spend nighy stuck in room or driving just for fun not what I wanted to pay for. Elevator was slow down to one but staff allowed us in service Elevator. View was amazing kids wish they had soak tub or jacuzzi lol.
