Comfort Inn Cambridge

We had a very agreeable one-night stay here as we were passing through Cambridge. Our unit was roomy, airy, well-lit, and very clean. This motel is an old one, and this much is apparent from walking through the corridors, but it is very well maintained, and difficult to fault for the price. The amenities and breakfast exceeded our expectations, in truth.

The bathtub could do with a bit of bleaching, as much due to age as anything else. It is difficult, however, to find much else to fault at this price point. The hotel offers a certain value proposition for the short-term traveler, and lives up to expectations amply.

The hotel was pretty good, staff were friendly. This hotel is actually quite a cozy place, small but nice. There isn’t much to do in the area however there are a few restaurants near by. Perfect hotel for transient workers.

In my experience I found the lack of amenities to be quite surprising. They do offer wifi, however the breakfast is kind of dismal. Could definitely use a menu refresh. Furthermore, the rooms could bear to be re finished. All being said, I still found it above average for this type of property.

Most places have bagels and toast or at most scrambled eggs. I was surprised how good it was.

I have one leg and have a lot of trouble on stairs. Your booking site did not mention there is no elevator and did not give me a choice of what floor I preferred. but your staff fixed that. The door next door squeaked so I was woken two hours early when they checked out.

Breakfast was fine, pillows weren't that comfy but the bed was pretty good even though it was saggy in the middle. It could use updating but upgrades mean higher prices so I'll stick with what you have. Close to the mall, the 401 and the room was very quiet considering how close the highway is.

Pillows but that is only a personal preference.

I enjoyed everything about our room other than the TV. It's old, the picture was not clear for modern TV. Also, no streaming options. I've never been to a hotel without streaming/smart TV. My advice, update your TV, because not many people watch just cable now.

I was unable to book through calling Reservations (hung up on me twice) nor could I get a person at Customer Services, thankfully the Manager did email me to let me know she was out of the office - booked on line - but needed answers regarding the length on our stay, my mother passed away Wed. Oct. 27/21, the only actual contact with a person was the EXEMPLARY front desk ladies (Kim & Bev)

The breakfast pastries were good but the eggs were very bad. No taste in the omelette

I loved the place BUT I had someone enter my room at 5:15 am. I yellled out and they said sorry and closed the door. I am in a wheelchair so it was a bit stressful. When I told the front desk there was no reaction at all. I don’t think there was an apology??

Rooms were Clean and Comfortable. Breakfast was simple and usual - cereals, breads, waffles, egg, bacon, biscuit, juice and coffee. Bathrooms were clean and shower had good pressure.

Expected an elevator, had a tough time moving all our baggage.

I thought there may have been a pet in the room before. Saw dog hair on the couch and when we saw a dog in the room next to us . We are allergic to pets. It was fine but we will be mindful of asking for a pet free room next time

wonderful to have breakfast included especially the hot offerings such as eggs and sausage and the waffle maker. don't drink coffee however my friend said it was very good

the eggs on the second day weren't the greatest but the omelets were great
