The staff started our stay with a tour of the facilities and explaining all of the amenities available to us. The property is gorgeous from the inside out - and the room is to die for! The bed is plush and comfortable. The bathroom is large and the tub is oh so relaxing. They have loose leaf tea and snacks available to guests and I admittedly abused that amenity, they were so delicious! The breakfast was wonderful, but would have been even better if we had the opportunity to stay for the full breakfast. Unfortunately, we had an extremely early flight, so the staff went above and beyond to prepare us a to-go breakfast to take with us on the trek back to the airport. The pear juice is fantastic - you definitely need to try it! I was hesitant to spend so much on a singular night stay, but I promise it is worth the price. I have never stayed somewhere so hospitable and lovely. I still think of this place months later and I would love the opportunity to stay with them again.

The only thing I disliked was that we arrived in the late afternoon and had to leave in the early morning - definitely not enough time to enjoy this property properly! I would recommend planning to spend enough time at the property itself, rather than the surrounding area. You will not regret it.

The Woodbourne Inn is a beautiful heritage inn. We enjoyed having a glass of wine and chatting in the large living room or having our breakfast in the heritage library or dining room. Breakfasts were amazing - delicious food which was creatively presented by the chefs for Woodbourne Inn. The Inn is very well situated in terms of wineries if wine tasting is part of your visit to the area. We would certainly go back again if back in the Niagara region.

We loved the room and large bed (room 4). The drive in and out of the main area was longer than we expected so that was a drawback but nothing you can do about that! The breakfast was a surprise. I expected the usual bacon and eggs so was pleasantly surprised at the offering. It was like a quiche but with potatoes and edible flowers. It looked lovely. I also loved the tea and coffee and pastry delivered to the room at 8am. What a treat!

There was only one thing that made me a little sad and that was the old Canadian flag out front. I know it may seem like a small thing but I just knew if this was an American Inn the flag would have been in great shape. You need a new flag!!

Spent one night at the Woodbourne for our anniversary and the team made it extra special! Pleasantly surprised to get an upgraded room with a fireplace and tub, and some homemade welcome treats. The beds are extremely comfortable and the savoury breakfast was delicious. Thank you for making our stay so perfect!

It would be great to include bicycles for guests to explore the surrounding area more easily.

We stayed in room #2 the bed was comfortable and we loved the soaker tub. We were brought a tray each morning with coffee, juices, and a pastry to have before we came down for breakfast. The breakfasts were incredible and the house and grounds are beautiful. The staff were lovely 10/10 would highly recommend staying at the Woodbourne Inn.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome and had lots of fun learning about the house and the grounds. The Architecture was splendid. Everything look as if it was just built. The Service was outstanding. I loved the coffee tray before breakfast.

We didn't stay long enough. There was lots to do and see. The wineries were extremely well done and we certainly enjoyed them.

Breakfasts were excellent! Shannon did an incredible job with the meals. We felt so at home and well fed throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and an excellent place to land once we were done adventuring for the day.

The walls were a little thin, and some of the other guests were not terribly considerate. This is, of course, not really an issue with the inn (older places just tend to have thinner walls) or our experience with the service, but just some bad luck.

Breakfast was creative, beautifully prepared and delicious. We enjoyed the old world charm of the inn and personalized service. We particularly enjoyed the playlist, the music was fabulous and enjoyed spending time in the living room.

Beds are a personal preference and we happen to like a firm mattress. The one we slept on was very soft but we understand that many folks like a soft bed. The only other thing I can think of that would have made my stay even better than it was would be the addition of a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for makeup. Being of a certain age, it’s helpful to be able to see when applying makeup. !!

Amazing breakfast. Coffee, juice and muffin/ croissants are delivered to your room prior to breakfast. Wonderful addition. Rooms are spotless. It’s a beautiful, English style inn…. Lovely getaway.

The rooms are not completely sound proof.

Loved the early pastries, delicious breakfast and the homemade snacks in pantry.

The chefs have one breakfast item which is a surprise so u feel awkward if u don't like zucchini on ur pancakes...maybe let guests know what will be served. Also need a tourist map 4 the Falls activities because there is extremely spotty wifi past the driveway making navigating difficult. There is a great map for Niagara on the Lake but not for the Falls.
