Hotel Auberge Manoir Ville Marie

Peaceful neighborhood. Fully automated hotel. I didn't even need to talk to anyone for check in and check out! Has a cute freezer. Huge ceiling height. It used to be some post office before they converted it to a hotel. Temperature was optimal. Didn't need to use heater in start of November, but checked it and it works great. Everything else was as expected. Located close to the olympic stadium and almost beside the St. lawrence river.

No view from window at least in the room I got. The cleaning ladies do not understand English. When I reached there it was a bit difficult to communicate with them to take the trash out that was left behind by previous guests. they were rather disgruntled by that but eventually cleaned the room reluctantly. I arrived at 2:30pm. Check in was a 3pm. So still not too bad. For such things, presence of a front desk receptionist would help. The basin was tiny. Too tough to wash hands,face or mouth without spilling water.

Great, safe location with FREE parking. Coffee,fruit & croissants in the mornings was a nice bonus. Was disappointed the 2 days there was no coffee.

the room is big, and the bed was comfortable. easy to check in and out. You’re able to change the temperature in the room. Wi-Fi worked perfectly.

the lady in the reception when I arrived was not very friendly or nice, however the other day there was a very nice woman to help me. the towels had a weird smell. And I could find little hair everywhere in the room. the location also not very good, didn’t feel very safe walking from the subway station to the hotel.

The room was clean, it had a fridge, their was shower products, the bedding was clean, the breakfast was good. Parking was free on site but not much room. You could get hot water to make drinks in your room, coffee pods were provided for a small fee.

It was just a bit far from Ottowa, you could catch bus nearby or a 15 minute walk to train station. The lamp at side of bed didnt work.

I stayed there 5 years ago when my mom passed away suddenly and found all the staff wonderful, plus breakfast was great as well but its changed now because of Covid. Still tasty. The location is great because your so close to downtown but no city noise & can sleep well !

I really need my coffee in the morning and it was good but missed having milk or cream , we had coffee whitner 👎 .

The ambiance. The building at first will seem to look like an old apartment but when you come inside its beautiful. The concierge person is helpful and kind. It was our first time visiting Montreal and the concierge person gave us a map of tourist spots in Montreal to give us an idea on where to go. also if you are looking for an affordable stay you can probably look for this hotel.

The parking space is narrow and limited.

the room was clean, comfortable although wish they had darkening curtains to block out streetlights. loved the electronic key system!

staff were not always on site if you needed them, but were a quick call away. parking is limited if you drive a bigger vehicle. we had a Dodge Ram pickup and once parked didn’t want to drive anywhere for fear of losing our space. not many spots to safely park without getting ticketed or towed.

The staff was very friendly! It was a bit of a hassle when leaving bags since we arrived a little before check in but it was handled good

The location isn't that great. The neighborhood didn't always feel super safe, the day we arrived there was a fight at the metro station and there's some really unpleasant types hanging around that metro station

the breakfast table can be done better with little more options specially breads and a toaster maybe. because when we went for it at around 9 am it was all over except for the coffee.

Room size. Smart lock. Smart lock is a great idea, but once I couldn't get inside because my password didn't work and I spent 15 minutes changing it by phone (it took so long because receptionist didn't understand my room number)

My room was facing busy street: morning wasn't fun=) Shower water was warm, not hot
