Everywhere you go now, covid-19 is the excuse for scaled back service, especially in the area of breakfast and housekeeping but this hotel did a reasonably good job of providing the breakfast. At least they had a hot (well, warm) egg option, a sort of omelette in a tortilla, which was satisfying, plus there was instant oatmeal on offer. The coffee was adequate too and bottomless. The staff are very warm and hospitable and they inform you from the start that housekeeping is not permitted to enter the rooms during your stay but they invite you to visit the front desk if you need replensihment in the way of any supplies at all.

As a smoker, I would have appreciated one little outdoor area a few feet apart from the entrance with a seat and an ashtray. As it is, the smokers collect on the curb or on the steps of neighboring buildings and their butts end up in the street or on the sidewalk. Where's the sense in that? Yes, I do realize we're in the minority but pretending we don't exist makes no sense. Also, on the website it was indicated that parking was available for $13 per day. While it is true that you can rent parking from the Enterprise parking facility next door for $13 a day, you do not have in/out privileges unless you purchase your parking pass from the hotel and that will cost you $15 a day. Slightly deceptive, I thought.

The location is close to the old town There’s a mall with an IGA, a pharmacy and a Starbucks in it & McDonald’s is just across the mall The rooms are beautifully decorated & small but well appointed There’s a safe, fridge & desk in the room The neighbourhood & hotel are quiet from late evening until early morning There’s an ice machine and vending machine near reception The beds and pillows are very comfortable TV options are good, even in English

The walls and door provide zero sound proofing & noise starts in the early morning The neighbourhood is a little sketchy, but well patrolled by police

Excellent location, close to Berri-UQAM Metro station that is in 3 of the 4 lines, also very close to the bus stop where the bus from and to the airport passes. Within walking distance to many city attractions (about 20 minutes) in a safe neighbourhood, so if you want to wander around this is an excellent choice. Facilities are impeccable, though modest, the size of the room was very small, but had all the comforts needed (TV, hair dryer, safe, iron), super comfy bed and its own AC. Breakfast was good, focus in premade and packaged food, but with good variety (omelette, sausages, muffins, bread) and a self-served waffle station. Staff was very friendly and fluent in both French and English.

The only thing is that doors in my floor were very noisy when closing, so I woke up early every morning when people were leaving their rooms, so if you are a light sleeper pack some earplugs.

Very comfortable, clean room. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great with the standard hot and cold options. The hotel is in a perfect location. We walked everywhere and recommend walking out to Mile End for a food tour and then heading to Mt. Royal Park on the way back! The metro station is literally over the road so you can get that instead of walking. There is an $11 ticket for 24hrs unlimited public transport which would be a great option for exploring the whole city in a short time. We would definitely stay here again.

The walls were a bit thin but caused no issues at any point.

Perfect hone away from home. Staff were exceptional and it was so clean. The only thing I can think of is please make sure that the cleaner closes the room doors. Mine was left open, unlocked, with all of my belongings in there. Besides that, it was fantastic! The overall quality made it easy to rate this hotel a 10. Can't wait to come back :). Also, everyone was friendly, visitors included!

The cleaner left my room door open with my belongings in there after he left. Nothing was stolen but it can be dangerous, especially for a young woman traveling alone.

The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room of a good size and the bathroom, too. The bed very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and there were a few options. There was coffee, water and chocolate at the lobby 24/7.

The hotel location was not really downtown, as it was quite a walk, but there were a lot of bus stops nearby. I didn't really like the smell in my room of a wet carpet and the constant noise from different kind of devices in/around the room.

Requested for a quiet room away from the elevator. Got an upgrade from Queen Room to Double Queen Room. Really spacious and clean. Beds very comfy. Lots of towels in the bathroom very helpful. Window comes with blackout roller shades. Room is very quiet even in the midnight and morning (we slept in until 12 noon) Asked for a sewing kit at the reception and a friendly staff gave one to me right away. Coffee at the lounge is good too.

Small defect at the Double Queen Room - a dresser drawer cannot be closed. (Didn't bother me at all). Will appreciate if toothbrush and slippers are provided in the room.

I do recommend this hotel. The highlights were: - Good location: it is near the subway station, the airport bus station (747) and many bus lines. - Breakfast: nice options and variety offered. - Comfy bed and nice bathroom.

- The smell of the bathroom was not very good. I don't know if it was clean enough or if the product used had a bad smell. - Despite the convenient location, the square next to the hotel had a certain concentration of drug users (nothing too different from what we find in large Canadian cities, unfortunately). This fact did not impact anything on our safety, but it is still something that bothers us because they often yell and fight among themselves.

Loved the staff! They were all very approachable and friendly and fluently spoke both French and English. Not only was breakfast complimentary, but it was yummy and very filling. There was still enough to go around even if you came closer to the cut off time @10am. Also, there's free tea/coffee/hot chocolate in the lobby. Wifi was strong. Everything was mostly clean. Loved the option for blackout blinds in the room. Location is great for hitting top spots by foot/bus/metro and even Bixi (bike share). Parking across the street is near and cheaper than anticipated. Overall, we were so comfy we extended our stay and would definitely choose it again next time we're in Montreal.

There wasn't much of a view from the rooms, but blame that on location. It's still good that whatever could be seen outside wasn't gross/unsettling - an experience I've had in much larger accommodations. Slow elevator - but we survived.

Front desk staff and breakfast staff were fantastic. They efficiently checked us in, then listened to what we planned to do during our 4-day visit and gave us recommendations for parking, activities, and food. The breakfast was decent, with egg/cheese/sausage sandwiches, yogurt, muffins, and other typical continental breakfast. Free water dispenser and coffee/hot cocoa was available in the lobby 24 hrs/day. Location was good for walking to most attractions. Overall it was good value compared to other hotels in the area.

We had a 4th-floor queen room, which was very tight, but had a desk, safe, and refrigerator. The view was of a brick wall behind the hotel, and the ambient light was therefore limited. The walls aren't super thick, so if you're sensitive to noise bring some earplugs! There was some mold around the base of the shower.
