Hôtel Le Concorde Québec

After reading some of the so-so reviews, I was a little nervous about my booking. Those reviews did NOT match my stay! I loved the room (no carpet!), the view, the staff, just everything about Hotel Concorde. The hotel itself is extremely central, an easy walk to all the main attractions. We parked our car and only took it back out when we were leaving. Honestly, we don't stay in our room for very long we like to walk all day and take in as much of the city as we can. I would stay at this hotel at my next visit!

The location is absolutely central to visiting Qc city. The views from The room especially those facing east, is incomparable.

The grounds are unkempt with lots of weeds in containers, the basement which has the only public bathrooms for use by the breakfast restaurant smells, isn’t air conditionned, and has many unrepaired urinals and toilet stalls. Broadloom in room hallways remain stained with no evidence of attempts at cleaning.

No one explained on our arrival that the "sign" we hung on our door isn't being used now. So our room wasn't cleaned for the 3 nights we stayed there and so we had to ask for clean towels on the third day. The hairdryer didn't work and the toilet wouldn't flush. We did call reception for someone to look at the toilet cistern. It wasn't working properly when we left. The floors hadn't been washed recently as our feet were black from walking around.

No complains

I know we wouldn’t get clean bed sheats and that’s fine. But at least clean the waste baskets and MAKE the beds each day and provide clean towels plus clean up the wet ones. Uh We slept there 3 nights charged for 4 the least you could have done is keep the room clean without me having to ask. With a hotel that is so nice I would not want a one black mark against me. Because it’s the black mark people remember. FYI teach your house cleaning staff to speak minimum English remember if you want to be a world class establishment you have to pay attention to detail.

Amazing view from the upgrade option I selected and the Le Ciel meals were delicious. A definite repeat.

No clear indication for the parking until I went in and was explained that it was a few buildings down. Guests on the floor kept on smacking their doors every time they left. Maybe oiling the doors will assure that there is no disturbance to sleep. Elevator wait averaged 10-15 minutes every time. When I asked if I can reserve dinner at check in, the gentleman said that they are fully booked. I am glad I took a chance to see with the restaurant if they had a waiting list and the hostess said that they can accommodate us for early dinner.

Great ambient, great location

The staff was professional, friendly , helpful however the facility could use an update, certain things around the building look older…I called the front desk to let them know that there was no ice on floor 22 and 16. When I requested ice to be deliver to my room, they told that I need it to go to another floor.. The toilet on the room 2202 was moving a lot.. overall these rooms could you make over…

The location is great and the hotel itself a very interesting infrastructure. The highlight is the restaurant 'LeCiel' on the rotating tower at the 26th floor. Definitely worth the experience, great food and wonderful view.

I had the feeling that the hotel starts to be a bit old. Although is well kept, some major renovations is needed. Moreover, the price was really high, I think too much high!

We were very happy to receive a free upgrade and the view from that room was fantastic...Pool area was unique and also had a good view to outdoors...The excellence of the food at the revolving restaurant matched the panoramic scenery - not always the case.

Fridge in closed cabinet seemed to be extra warm. May need more ventilation...One of the hot tubs was out of order...There was an excess amount of wet slush in drop-off area in front of hotel.

We booked two adjoined rooms, and they were lovely. Our rooms had amazing views, were quiet, clean and warm. We were there for the winter carnival, it was a great location! The hotel downstairs was very good! We went multiple times for both breakfast and dinner.

The elevator was busy on the weekends. The daily parking rate was a bit high being a hotel guest.
