Aparthotel Adagio Access Rennes Centre

I have stayed in this hotel for a number of years due the great location and value for money. Breakfast is also good value for money. Secure parking available (extra cost) which is great when parking around Rennes can be a nightmare

It would be good to have handrails to get out of the bath and not the first time I have mentioned this in feedback - one day perhaps The cat - its cute but not sure I like it sitting on tables in the breakfast room and cleaning itself of the back of the sofa type chairs !!

It was better than expected. The room was good size, clean, comfortable bed. We even had a fan to keep cool. The kitchenette was well stocked with dishes, cutlery. I appreciated the brand new kitchen sponge. It may be a small detail but, if you cook and have to wash the dishes you certainly prefer to do this with a clean, new sponge. The underground parking was very useful after renting a car. The laundry was also a great bonus. They thought at everything. Our room faced the courtyard so it was quite silent.

It was no fault of the hotel but, the common room at the ground floor had an opening to the court. During one night of Saturday to Sunday someone thought nice to put a table and some chairs in that opening and sit there at around 2 a.m. talking, smoking and drinking. The problem was that our window was exactly above that space, at the first floor. We didn't complained because this was the only thing that bothered us.

The staff were really lovely, helpful and kind. The room was the cleanest I think I've ever seen! It clearly wasn't all new but it didn't look shabby, Free cool water to fill up drinking bottles which was a serious bonus as the weather was very hot. No air con but there was a fan in the room. There was a lovely local map with great places to visit marked up with personal comments from staff. The breakfast was good. Nice book exchange, which is always a bonus! Vending machines and an 'order in' service for other food.

The entrance area is a bit shabby which is a real shame because it's actually a great place to stay and the entrance lets it down.

Easy check in, very good location directly in city center. A good place if you plan to be out most of the time.

Apartment too small for 4 people (even the chairs are only 3), including bathroom very small too. As it is a huge apart hotel, a little like student place, people are cooking and a strange smell was there which made all of us caugh and not breath when passing. Breakfast very poor for 11 euros, we were charged for the kids as adults but I explained and was reimbursed the next day so this is ok. Important to mention that in Rennes on Sunday most restaurants, pancakes etc are closed. If we've known we've planned otherwise, but not hotel's fault of course.

We liked the layout of the apartment and the facilities. The large bathroom was good. It was short walking distance to the metro and restaurants and supermarket. The breakfast was good value and staff were very friendly

Some aircon or fan for got days would’ve appreciated as there was only one window for air flow. Snap or folder in the room to help with info would’ve been useful.

Great location convenient to walk to the historic centre. Check in was easy and receptionist very friendly and informative. She recommended the Saturday Market which was great first thing. Room was a comfortable sized and generally well equipped. A big bathroom. Bed was comfy. Was lucky to park for free outside but there is a parking option within hotel. Would stay again.

A lack of convenient plug sockets for chargers. Need them by beds! Fridge was noisy and thankfully was able to switch off overnight as had not used it.

I loved that this is half hotel and half self catering. everything was there to make meals for ourselves, we could choose to have breakfast provided or not. shops and bars were close by. there is good reliable Wi-Fi access. the staff were really lovely and helpful.

I have been staying in this hotel already before and really enjoy this place. Close to the city center and metro. Perfect for business trip and sightseeing. Very comfortable bed.

There is no room service during your stay. Clear instruction on what to do with the wastes (bin) would be helpful.

Of the public No air conditioning. The portable a/c unit was not powerful enough and very noisy. It was hot at night so had to keep windows open. Unfortunately being on a busy intersection and traffic noise and drunken members of the public shouting and screaming in the early hours of the morning. Maybe we'll book a room overlooking the garden, not at the front of the building.

The staff was very helpful, the compact apartment was very clean and well equipped. It's located very close to a small supermarket which is handy on a Sunday since many shops, restaurants were closed when I arrived. An added bonus is that they're pet friendly (had to pay a small fee) and they were very accommodating.
