Park Inn by Radisson Reykjavik Keflavík Airport

We were welcomed by very helpful staff that solved our issues with finding a taxi that transports us with a baby seat. Furthermore, we could have breakfast a bit earlier as we had an early flight. The room was huge and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom more spacious than the average hotel bathroom.

Everything was great, nothing to complain. I would prefer individual bedding, we got one big cover for the king size bed, but I am sure they would have changed it if we would have asked. I will just remember to ask for it beforehand next time, as we will surely stay at park Inn again.

Special Thanks to the staff at the front desk. Very friendly and helpful. Great job by Olena, she really went the extra mile to make our stay really memorable. Breakfast buffet close to perfect. Delicious food in the Library Restaurant and very friendly service. Very efficient house keeping.

Just minor remarks: Scrambled eggs and omelette on the breakfast buffet were quite cold at times. There is a large mirror in the room right across the bed. The mirror as such is perfect, but from a Feng Shui point of view it should not be placed on the opposite of the bed.

I stay in Keflavik at least five times a year on my way to and from Greenland and have tried most hotels in the area. This has become my go-to hotel. It is particularly good for young children because the very large lobby is isolated from guest rooms and includes a small play area. Particularly good for jet lagged toddlers. The staff are very chill and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Good restaurant, complementary coffee. A ten minute walk from the pool and close to stores and other necessities.

Everything was fine.

The service desk night manager was a wonderful woman who took great care of all her guests despite the stress of tens of guests coming in from the airport due to a cancelled plane. Iceland air had done a horrible job helping their stranded guests and hardly anyone had got their vouchers. She still tried her very best to help everyone get accommodations. She kept control on who was next in line without us having to actually stand in line. She took great care of everyone and when she saw that I could barely walk, she pulled out a wheelchair for me. I greatly appreciate her help and her great care of us.

After a super disappointing stay in the nearby "Castle inn" (do not stay there) this was really a breath of fresh ocean air. Beautiful hotel, very well maintained, super clean room, the restaurant food was fantastic and great atmosphere and service. The reception lady was Almina very friendly and professional and so was her colleague. I could not ask for more.I had a sea view superior room, I highly recommend that versus a regular room although the standard was still really good and if it's just for a night you will be ok with either

We were only here for half the night as we had the first flight out in the morning(checking out before 4am). Very comfy room though and nice big shower, which was a treat after staying in a campervan for the rest of the week. Staff were super nice, letting us get a cheeky morning coffee for the road after only a few hours of sleep. They were also helpful ordering our taxi for the airport and checking in on our taxi, which was quite late.

Staff was really nice Restaurant at hotel was cool, library theme, limited menu. Close to airport & blue lagoon. Taxi to Hotel costs 80 for 6 people in a van. Blue lagoon taxi from hotel was under 20 dollars each way for 6 in a van. Hotel can call you taxi's. Have a cool couches in am open space kids can sit around.

Open windows on first floor would allow outsiders to be able to crawl into room. Didn't notice ac, which would have been good in August. Heat was on in 1 room - we turned off - it was August & blazing hot. Towel warmer didn't work in 1 room. Rooms have a college dorm/ Ikea style design. Bathroom has little separation from shower floor to rest of bathroom- may have been a handicapped bathroom, water gets everywhere. That may be the typical style but some hotels had different set up in iceland. Room occupancy is strict, family of 6 always needs 2 rooms but that's ok.

Standard, run-of-the-mill business hotel with larger-than-usual sized room. Great to get to the airport early in the morning (5 km drive). Decently and modernly furnished room with all necessary amenities.

One of the bath towels was noticeably dirty and the edges were in tatters. We didn't bother calling the reception to make a fuss as it is ultimately just a small issue but this was something that flawed an otherwise perfect hotel experience.

* The view to the sea. * Bar and lounge. * The location in the center of Keflavik, near restaurants and close to the port area.

* The price! * Taxis to the airport organized by the hotel. They were calling individual taxi for each guest, which is just wasteful. Certainly that could be more efficient pooling people or providing a shuttle every 20 minutes at least in peak hours.

clean tidy and the staff were exceptional. I have to give a special mention to Jonathan, who was quite amazing. I arrived late into Reykjavik and ended reaching the hotel at past 12am. Jonathan couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful - even going to the lengths of bringing a charging plug and wire to my room so I could charge the phone ready for my connecting flight the next day. Exceptional customer service.
