really friendly staff, both at receptionist and in restaurant and bar. Great comfy beds and nice big bathroom. Good fish and chips on bar menu. Good facilities for pool and hot tub. Tasty soda bread at breakfast and good selection of fruit for yoghurt. good that we could book all our trips from hotel and they picked us up at hotel.

For a seven stay stay the Breakfast was pretty boring. The continental breakfast was really poor with the same orange cheese EVERYDAY with a few pieces of Brie, some sliced tomatoes and cucumber. Occasionally there was fresh cantaloupe. On our last day there were no tomatoes, no cucumber, just the usual orange cheese and mediocre looking ham. When I requested fresh cantaloupe or an apple or pear I was told there was none. Apparently the cantaloupe hadn’t been delivered yet and there were no fresh apples or pears! I did have the Irish breakfast a few days but some days the tomatoes were dried up and the eggs were WELL scrambled! Cereal selection was more for kids than adults, way too many sugary cereals!

The leisure facilities were perfect after a long day of physical activitied outside. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great location, near town center and Killarney National Park. Food was ok. Room was quite spacious. Good value for money.

Carpet in the room feels dusty so my allergy was acting up the whole time, I had to open the window wide open to keep air circulating. The sofa and chairs feel dirty (they don't look dirty) because they were old, I did't dare use them. Also, I can hear people talking right outside the room vividly, sometimes it gets noisy. Hangers were hard to use because they were attached in the closet.

I chose the Parkavon for its location and off-street parking, out of the city centre. It was a great choice!! Easy to find, lots of parking, friendly staff and great food in the restaurant. It was an easy walk into Killarney centre and the free Gardens where we took our lunch to eat one day, plus we had a lovely walk along the river the afternoon we arrived. The other bonus was it is on the Ring of Kerry road which we wanted to tour - everything about staying here was so comfortable and easy!! Photos of Killarney as we walked in; street art in laneways near the river; the river near Parkavon

The location was great for walking left or right outside the hotel to explore the area, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The windows opened and let in wonderful cool air and overnight the location was quiet. It was a good value for the money. It had a pool and jacuzzi but we didn't use them bc I forgot that they were amenities and didn't pack swimwear.

The pool and jacuzzi hours are limited which is odd in case people are staying there multiple days. The table in the breakfast room for two tops are a bit narrow while sitting and you sit inside the legs of the table while dining so to get up the table needs to be pushed away from you or you have to lean over, if you leave it pushed out while eating. To have an adult amount of room around your legs you need to sit at a bigger table. This type of table was utilized in other locations during our trip so this was not the first place we experienced it but its not comfortable.

Loved the bed and the staff was very helpful. Loved the location in relation to the arena since we had an event to attend there. Loved the food we ordered in the bar one evening. It was a lovely stay for what we were expecting.

Didn't like the rude awakening at 7am from delivery trucks (or construction vehicles...it was quite loud). Didn't like how stifling warm it was both nights even with the windows open. Didn't really like the breakfast that we had on our first morning (was happy to go into Killarney for breakfast instead on our second morning).

The building had charm. I liked the set up of the room with the table and chairs in the corner and the armoire. I also liked that the window opened to get fresh air. The room had a nice view. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant off the lobby was very good. There were a couple of convenience stores nearby that had coffee and fast food. The walk into downtown was 15-20 minutes.

The bed could have used a soft mattress topper. If was a little too firm, but that may just be a personal preference.

I stayed here 4 days with 3 small children. I'd like that it was zero bureaucracy about check-in and checkout, also family room was with 2 rooms actually (looks like we got free upgrade to superior family room), it is excellent for families. Breakfasts were great also. Working elevator in 3-floor hotel is nice thing. Smart TV had connection to onlne streaming services as well as TV channels.

It was a bit inconvenient that fan ventilation in bathroom didn't work. Also, main road from the street was blocked due to some repairs, and we had to go around to enter hotel.

The hotel was in a great location and parking was never a problem. The bar was nice and we enjoyed the food. The pool was great for me and my 5 year old son, it was nice and warm and the jacuzzi/steam room/sauna were good too. I would recommend and I will be back next year. We had a family room and it was very big with lots of space for the kids

The price of drink and food I felt was pricey but this was a common theme of Killarney and Ireland in general. It wasn't more expensive than anywhere else we went.

Location and Comfort of the Room as it was easy to access on the lower floor. The Smart TV was great once the Network was set up and I could use my Netflix account. The Vegan pizza I had on the first evening was really great. For breakfast the staff arranged for Vegan sausages and Soya Milk so that I could have a vegan breakfast

There Should be more vegan options readily available for breakfast and other vegan options available in the Pub instead of just a vegan pizza.
