Killarney Royal Hotel

Really well located and delicious breakfast with gluten free good options!

Couldn’t open the window and some of the things of the room were really old and in a bad shape (which didn’t affect or stay)

We loved how everyone was so genuine and friendly! The manager went out of her way to make my son’s congratulatory trip to Ireland special ( he graduated from medical school). She had congratulatory chocolates & a hand written card waiting for us upon arrival to our room. He kept the card! Thanks for holding a special place for us and thanks for giving us good recommendations on the hiking situation! The room was beautiful, comfortable & clean. The breakfast was great. Out of our 10 day trip, this hotel rated the highest in terms of their pure hospitality. Thank you.

We found nothing to complain about.

The staff is super attentive and helpful. The setting is beautiful, the fireplace in the lobby, very short walk to the best pubs, and the breakfast was lovely, and delicious. The rooms were very clean, the bathrooms were spacious, with all the amenities. Very nice lobby and bistro to spend time in.

Nothing that I can come up with, all the staff was extremely professional. They went out of their way to please or assist with any local information, the best! (And they printed it out, without being asked)

We had a lovely few days at the Killarney Royal Hotel. A lovely old hotel that has been kept up to date in comfort whilst keeping some of its old charm. The staff in the hotel are world class, everyone is so friendly and couldn't help enough. A special mention to John who looked after the hotel during the night. John, you're a gentleman and made our day whenever we bumped into for a chat. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

We had a large bag of laundry to do and chose to do it outside the hotel which ended up costing 90% less than doing it with the hotel. The pricing was too high for a comparable service

The people looking after us in all parts of the hotel made this experience exceptional. I felt like I had known some of them for years. They were well groomed and very well presented.

Other guests were not always mindful of their noise as they passed the room but that is not the hotels fault. The window could have been a bit more soundproofed but that never impacted on us at all.

Great location, everything on your doorstep. Room was very clean, spacious & quiet. Good welcome when we eventually came to check in

We had breakfast, brunch & dinner, service was excellent, could'nt do enough for us, food was scrumptious & had we wanted more, more would have been brought to the table, presentation was excellent, ambience in restaurant, just beautiful, very relaxing.

It would have been great to have had more seating for dining out doors but obviously that was'nt exactly possible & is very acceptable.

I am a repeat visitor of this location. wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Killarney because of the staff. it’s a special place

Oozes old-world charm with friendly staff, excellent hands-on manager and reception staff and perfect location - loved everything. The room was fabulous and even had a carpet golf kit which was a novel feature.
