SHINJUKU WARM HOUSE

Great location, while also off the main thoroughfare so it was quiet too. Super clean and well-organized. Also, the staff was super responsive. We used email because it was easiest for me, and they always emailed back within minutes. Also, the outdoor space with tables and plants was very nice - I sat there each morning!

We happened to get the smallest room, but it was still nice. We were three people, so it was tight. Once we figured out to keep the suitcases under the beds, that really helped. The cost was great though - so for the price I cannot complain about the size!

Shinjuku Warm House is in a great location. A short walk to the JR Yamanote line @Shin-Okobu station (helpful if you're a traveler with a JR pass) and also near the Higashi-Shinjuku subway station. We enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself was super clean and quiet (especially given the location) which was a welcomed surprise. The on-site coin lockers for luggage storage came in really handy as we were able to easily keep luggage on-site (rather than at a train station) which was really convenient. We used the laundry machines on several occasions (traveling only with carry-ons in winter required it!) and the building provides detergent! The dryers worked fabulously and didn't require a ton of time - again, really helpful as when on vacation, no one wants to spend time doing laundry. We enjoyed having a room with two bedrooms (and two full!) baths --- as the parents and kids could have separate sleeping spaces and it was more comfortable this way. For the price, it would be hard to beat these amenities in this neighborhood. The heating units also worked beautifully.

The beds are small and very very firm. The comforter on the bed was only the width of the bed with no overhang - it was a little challenging to maneuver as two average sized adults. This is not at all a dealbreaker, but the only drawback we felt during our stay. We would gladly stay here again!

It was very clean and comfortable. Came during the winter and the heat worked really well. loved that there were two separate rooms for a bit of privacy and two bathrooms. The laundry downstairs was so easy to operate and there is a smoking area if you are a smoker. I would definitely come back here!

The WiFi was slow. Even when the internet speed test said we were getting 60Mbps download and 8Mbps upload speeds, my Zoom calls were still lagging. In my week there, I was never able to get on a group Zoom call without lagging so I ended up having to go to a 24 hour cafe. The WiFi is fine for general internet browsing/YouTube.

Everything looks new. Comfortable bed and I like how there is a huge under the bed space for luggages. Bathroom is very nice and clean. Location is perfect an train station is so close .

I didn’t like that it’s like a bnb set up but no plates and utensils to use because some days we just want to eat in our rooms. There is dish soap but no sponge to clean the cups.

Great little spot for a one night stay. We had the double room which was perfect for two couples. Two separate bedrooms and two washrooms (only one sink). The luggage lockers were so useful to have! It had a cozy feel. The signs with English instructions for the various control panels were very helpful. Digital check in was easy!

Even by Tokyo standards, it’s a small space. This wouldn’t stop us from staying here again, however.

The location was excellent. Close to 2 train stations and lots of restaurants. Nice to have 2 bathrooms

The back bedroom bed was really hard. The front bedroom bed had some sort of mattress pad so it was better so maybe the back bedroom bed could be made less firm with a little padding

very central location but still quiet at night, amenities provided were clean & plentiful. also, very rare to have 2 bathrooms & toilets!

the double beds were not queen size, more like super single or twin so it was not easy for 4 adults. the place is also cramped when trying to open luggages so we needed to open them one at a time

Shinjuku Warm House met my expectation when I stayed in Tokyo. It's easy to check in using the tablet. The room is not as spacious as another hotel in Tokyo but is very comfy. They have a dishwasher but don't have any glasses or cutlery to use. The place is quite far from Shinjuku station (around 1 km) but you can get off from Shin-Okubo station which is nearer if you use the Yamanote line. There are also some convenience stores and restaurants around the hotel within walking distance.

The location is perfect, 200m from East Shinjuku Station which can take us to 新宿，原宿，涩谷. The taxi cost to the airport bus at Shinjuku West is 1500 y only. The laundry facilities are convenient, supermarket and restaurants are all within walking distance. We enjoyed our 3 nights stay very.much and will definitely come again next time.

One bed is a bit uncomfortable but still acceptable. Everything else is fantastic.

The place was tiny but they have everything you need. The toilet and shower area was good. There is a fridge and a microwave. Convenient stores and restaurants are nearby.

There was no space or table for you to eat a meal together. You have to sit on the bed or on the floor. Anyway, there's a garden table outside the room but it is too cold in the winter.
